"How do we get out of here?" Emily shuddered.
Shorty looked around. "I know this place. These stones are familiar."
He touched one, slicing open his fingers, and the pain revealed the memory. "This is the labyrinth!"
"What labyrinth?" Emily demanded.
"The one where I lost my crew in in 1944!" He looked at Lizavet. "I remember waking up with a broken arm and the first thing I did was run after my crew. I tried to leave reminders to follow...."
"But you ended up delirious and with an infection," Lizavet answered.
He smiled at her. "You still found me."
They stared at each other in adoration.
"Kids - love can't stop lava. Stare later! Run faster! Now!" Indy shoved them forward.
