Harry Potter was having a good old look at his fangs in the mirror. He was still getting used to them. He knew for most of his life he would one day have these, but he was not prepared for how different it would make him feel. He definitely wasn't prepared for the "slight" change in his emotions. Who knew he'd become a bit more... territorial? Yep, that was the word. Not clingy or possessive, just territorial. But Hermione liked to make him feel better and just say he was extra careful around this he loved. He loved her. She was the most supportive friend. Even if she was a werewolf. That had been a shock to her on her eleventh birthday. Not only was she a witch, but another creature entirely as well. Harry found out he was different when he was old enough to realise normal kids couldn't see in the dark. And then he figured it out with the help of his cousin, Dudley Dursley. He let that one slip on his 8th birthday. The year Harry actually stopped receiving presents from his aunt and uncle. He moaned that Harry would get more presents than Dudley ever would, seeing as vampires live forever. To stop him complaining, they stopped giving Harry his birthday hand me down sock. But Harry was fine with that, honestly.
Anyway, he stopped poking at his fangs, fiddled with his bow tie once more, and left his office. 'Right students, I hope you have finished those tests because time is up!' Harry put his hand out, and all papers flew to his hand. 'I won't keep you here any longer. I wish you all luck with your family's exams. Relax in the ten minutes you have... Now get lost.'

'So professional,' he heard someone scoff from the darkness. Harry spun his head around with a grin only to find that someone right in front of his face.
'Ah, Severus! Don't do that!' Harry whined, holding his hand over his heart. Severus Snape glanced down at his hand.

'Hasn't it stopped beating yet?' Severus questioned.

'Yours hasn't either,' Harry replied as he lent on his desk.
'And they won't stop until we settle down, but neither of us have had luck in finding a partner. So until then, please stop creeping up behind me.'

'Nah. Well, both of our exams are over, so would you like to return to the Great Hall and hand in our papers together?' Severus asked. Harry smiled.

'Of course,' Harry answered. So the two left Harry's classroom, walking rather close together, and made their way to the great hall. Once there, they walked up the isle between the four tables and handed their papers to Headmistress McGonagall.

'Was everyone in attendance?' McGonagall asked as she shuffled through other papers.

'Yep,' Harry replied.
'Of course,' Severus replied.

'Think any of them may have failed?' McGonagall questioned.

'No,' Harry replied proudly.
'Of course,' Severus replied. Harry chuckled and elbowed him gently.

'Hey, don't doubt your teaching skills. I'm sure all your students passed with flying colours,' Harry encouraged.

'I wasn't thinking of my students,' Severus said with a proud smirk on his face. Harry stuck his tongue out at him and turned to McGonagall, not noticing the confused look in Severus' eyes.

'If you too are done flirting, you may take a seat. Lockhart has already finished with his class,' McGonagall suggested with a fond smile. Harry rolled his eyes and made his way over to Lockhart.

'Good afternoon, Lockhart,' Harry greeted rather coldly as he sat in his designated seat. Severus unfortunately has to sit the other side of him.

'Potter,' Lockhart spat. The man's eyes then filled with... Some kind of joy.
'Severus! How are you?' Harry could feel his fangs getting ready for him to pounce. He didn't know why but he didn't care. He did not like Lockhart or the thoughts running through his mind.
