Chapter one hundred and eighteen

"We're going back."

The two had sex in that car, as they were driving down the road, Rick grabbed Scarlett's hand and kissed it, as they then drove through a open gate, a van was in front of them, as they parked behind it and got out, opening the trunk, boxes fell out, and when they picked up the packages that fell out "tasteful noodles. Too bad we couldn't have found these years ago, I still remember when Carl almost ate dog food." Scarlett shared, as Rick scoffed "I threw that can across the room." he told her "mm-hmm." Scarlett told him.

Where the sun had set, as the two were sitting down with their hot plate and a pot of tasty noodles, eating it, Scarlett had a brown jacket on, as Rick was wearing a flannel, he put his arm around her, as Scarlett looked to him, he kissed her, as Scarlett kissed him.

Having taken the van, the two were driving down the road, where there was nothing but trees and mountains surrounding them, they soon stopped at a gas station, walking around it, they found a soda machine, with branches wrapped around it, a walker could be heard, as the two turned around, Scarlett pulled out her axe, as her and Rick walked toward's it

Getting back in the van, the two were driving down the road, as Rick was downing one of the soda cans, he put it down, before grabbing the picture of Carl, looking at it, as they then past a sign that said three pines trail ten miles, they came to a stop in front of the building, getting out of the car, they walked up, as Rick banged on the door, nothing came, as he opened it, Scarlett walked in, as Rick followed in behind her, the door slammed behind them.

As Rick walked straight ahead, looking past the door, Scarlett walked to the left, looking at the name plates "those damn license plates. Still can't believe Aaron had them up in his house. Had poor Gracie memorizing them. She was scared of everything." she shared, walking to the left "not our kids." Rick told her, following her "only if they were gonna die." Scarlett shared, looking at the deer head mounted on the wall, remembering when Carl first got shot, not noticing Rick grab a necklace that said Scarlett, putting it in his pocket, he walked up behind her, putting his arms around her "I know what you're thinking about." he told her, leaning down and kissing her on the neck.

Scarlett closed her eyes "well, I can't think of anything with your hands on me." she told him, as Rick turned her toward's him, kissing her, Scarlett kissed him back, as Rick picked her up, Scarlett wrapped her legs around him, as Rick carried her over to the counter, putting her down, kissing her on the neck again, Scarlett noticed the key hanging on the hook, she grabbed it, seeing cabin and a number "wonder what it would be like if I decided to live the rest of my life out in some cabin instead of some town?" she asked, and Rick knew she was implying never meeting him, he huffed, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder, he turned around carrying her out, Scarlett laughed.

Having grabbed their bags, the two of them were hiking through the woods "she said you were here only family." Scarlett remembered Thorn saying "she was trying to get home, to South Africa, to someone she loves. Okafor found her, and she stopped trying. You know, I never let go." Rick shared, grabbing her hand and turning her toward's him "I denied it, and I pushed you away, but I never let go." Rick shared "neither did I." Scarlett told him, as she turned to keep walking, she stopped, furrowing her brows "what is it?" Rick asked "protect the park from the people. The people from the park. But then it get's weird.." Scarlett shared, pointing at it "and the people from the people." she said.

As Rick furrowed his brows "look out!" a woman voiced, walkers could be heard, as Rick turned running off, Scarlett ran after him, where there was a man and a woman on the ground, as another man was taking on the walker, Rick ran up and went to swing the machete off of it's head, but it ricocheted off of it "that's not good." Scarlett shared, putting her axe away, she pulled out her gun, as Rick held it back, Scarlett stuck the gun in it's mouth, pulling the trigger, the walker died, as Scarlett pulled the gun out, Rick threw it to the ground.
