This was (Y/N)s first Thanksgiving with their, recently found out, father Hawks. They didn't know what to talk about. They hadn't grown up with their parents.
Currently the two were sittin in an awkward silence. Neither knew what to say. Hawks soon sighs.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there when you were growing up."
"It's fine." (Y/N) replies.
"It's not. I should have been there. I just... didn't know I had a daughter."
"It's fine, really."
Hawks sighs.
No matter what he said, they wouldn't listen. He actually didn't know he had a daughter. He never had been with anyone and yet a DNA test said they were his child.
Then his phone started ringin. He look to see who. It was Endeavor. He answers.
"Hey Endeavor."
"Hawks, there is a villain attack."
"I'm on it."
He hangs up. He looks at (Y/N).
"Villain attack, lets go."
(Y/N) gives a nod. Both then head out.
(Time Skip)
Both soon arrived at the city. The villain was attackin. Hawks used his feathers to pin the villain to a wall. The villain struggles.
"You won't get out." Hawks says.
The villain eyes then widen when he sees (Y/N).
"Y-you..."
(Y/N) gives a confused look. They point at themself.
"Me?"
Hawks was also confused.
"What about them?" Hawks asks.
The villain laughs.
"What's so funny?" Hawks asks.
"I never thought I'd see them again." The villain says.
"What do you mean?" Hawks asks.
"They're not a real child, they're an experiment. Your DNA and DNA of a random woman were used in their creation."
Hawks eyes widen. (Y/N)s eyes widen as well. They didn't know this. They only remember wakin up in the hospital.
"They were a failed experiment."
This made Hawks upset. He knocks the villain out.
(Time Skip)
The police soon arrived. They took the villain away. Hawks and (Y/N) stood off to the side and watched. (Y/N) couldn't believe they were an experiment.
Soon Hawks and (Y/N) go to a restaurant. They ordered chicken. Hawks looks at (Y/N).
"Everything will be alright, little bird."
They look at him. He smiles.
This was certainly a strange Thanksgiving.
