Benny walked into his mansion, Selena was in the kitchen making dinner "hey baby" he said "hey hunny" she said. He went into the fridge and grabbed a beer. "How are the boys?" she asked "yeah they are good the albums are coming on really well...I was thinking of inviting the boys to the engagement party" he said. "Yeah that would be awesome. Thats a good idea" she said "awesome. I'll ask them tomorrow" he said and kissed Selena's cheek.
The Engagement Party.
Raquelle, Courtney and Ashleigh were getting ready with Selena for the engagement party. "Raq could you go downstairs and grab my phone I left it in the lounge" she said "yeah sure thing" she said. Raquelle went downstairs in her jogging bottoms and a old band t-shirt, thinking it was just Benny downstairs. She then was bumped into by someone "oh shit I'm so sorry" she heard a British voice say. She looked up and saw a tall, curly haired man holding a box. "Are you okay? I didnt mean to bump into you" he said "no it's fine don't worry about it" she smiled, he smiled and she blushed. "I uh better go and put this in the kitchen before Benny shouts at me" he smiled "yeah I uh need to get ready and make myself look presentable" she said "well I mean you look really lovely the way you are at the moment..."Jay smiled blushing. Raquelle blushed "um I better go and give Sel her phone" she said holding the phone "okay, see you later?" he said "yeah I'll see you later" she smiled, as she turned around and walked upstairs. Jay smiled and watched her walk upstairs.
He turned to see Max and Nathan pretending to make out with someone "shut up" he said and walked into the kitchen with the box. Max and Nathan laughed and followed him into the kitchen. "Hey Ben who's the blonde girl that Selena is hanging out with?" Max asked "cause Jay has a crussshh... " Nathan teased. "Thanks boys" Jay smiled "ooh you got a thing for Raquelle?" Benny asked "mate he couldn't stop staring at her and also the smile on his fucking face and the you look lovely the way you look at the moment...." Max said. Jay blushed "shut up" he said "awhh man. Nah Raquelle is great, she's one of Sels closest friends and she also works as her assistant. She's awesome and she's single!" Benny said. Jay nodded and smiled "good to know" he said as Benny handed the boys a beer.
Raquelle walked into the bedroom "why are you smiling so much?" Selena asked "no reason" she said "she met a cute guy. I know that smile anywhere!" Ashleigh said "maybe" Raquelle blushed "omg who?! Where?" Courtney said "I bumped into a cute guy downstairs. I didn't tget his name, he was like tall, British and really cute" she said "did he have brown curly hair?" Selena asked. Raquelle nodded "that's Jay. Benny mentioned they'd be helping before the party. He is the lead singer in a band that Benny is working with. I've met him a few times, he's really sweet guy..and he's single!!" Selena said.
Raquelle blushed "omg we need to set this up!" Ashleigh said "girl I'm already on it" Selena said texting Benny.

Later that night
The girls walked downstairs, onto the decking where Jay and Benny were drinking some beers "where are the other boys?" Selena asked after saying hello to Jay "they're going to pick up their other halves" Jay said "and your the only single one" Selena said "I am" he said "maybe not for long" Ashleigh chimed to Raquelle. Jay heard and looked at Raquelle, he smiled at her and she smiled back at her. The girls went and sat down with Benny and Jay. Selena sat next to Benny, Raquelle sat next to Jay whilst Ashleigh and Courtney went and got some drinks.
Benny was telling Jay and Raquelle the proposal story when the girls came out with the drinks "mate, thats really sweet" he said "yeah I was honestly so worried she was gonna say no" Benny laughed. The conversation then moved onto tattoos. Jay showed the tattoos on his arms, Raquelle touched his arm and he smiled at her. She asked him about the tattoo, he smiled and he told her.
Later on in the night.
Jay and Raquelle were talking when they were interrupted "hey Elle" a man said and hugged her tightly. Jay was taken aback a bit, "hey Peter, what are you doing here?" she asked "Benny invited us, well he invited Brad I just tagged along. Who's this?" he asked pointing to Jay "I'm Jay" he smiled "Peter" he said "Peter is my ex" Raquelle said "well that could change...if you wanted it too" he said raising an eyebrow. Jay nodded "I'm uh gonna get another drink" he said. "Wow rude, right?!" Peter said. "We're not getting back together Peter. How many times do I have to say it's over" she said before walking away to find Jay.
She saw Jay speaking with his arm on Nathan's shoulder as they were watching the game on beer pong. She walked over "hey" she smiled "hey" he said "can we talk?" she asked "uh yeah sure..." he said. She took his hand and led him outside. "Listen if your gonna let me down I get it... I mean he's your ex you have history" he said "Jay I'm not getting back with Peter. No way, he knows it's over" she said. "So your just letting me down gently?" he asked. "No I'm actually doing the opposite. I want to get to know you better" she smiled. He smiled widely "really?" he asked. She took his hands "really?" she asked. He nodded "awesome. There is some tension building..um can I just kiss you?" he asked. She smiled and nodded and then she kissed him first. He smiled through the kiss and brought her waist closer to his. She pulled away and smiled, he smiled back at her.
