Nathan and Max were stood at the bar, in a nightclub in Vegas. They had just kicked off their American tour, and decided to celebrate. Nathan then got tapped on the shoulder, he turned around and saw Nick Jonas.
"I knew it was you! Long time no see man!" Nick shouted over the loud music. "Oh my god, hiya mate" Nathan beamed and hugged Nick. "Dude! It's good to see you again" Nick shouted "You too, how long has it been?!" Nathan shouted "What, five years! Joe and Demi are up in the VIP lounge you gotta come and say hi" Nick said. "Oh dude, I'm up for that. I'm here with my friends, I don't want to leave them" he said "Bring them" Nick beamed "OH shit, Nick this is Max, Max this is Nick Jonas" Nathan said "Sup man" Nick said "Hi mate" Max said as they shook hands. "I'll come and get the boys and follow you over" Nathan said. "Awesome. I'll get a drink and wait by the lounge" Nick smiled "Alright sounds good mate" Nathan smiled.

Nathan and his friends walked upto the bar, they saw Nick waving and they walked over "Come in guys" Nick smiled and followed them in. Nick walked over "Guess who I found!" Nick said pointing at Nathan "Nathan? Dude so good to see you again" Joe smiled, slightly drunk he walked over and hugged him "yarite mate" he said and hugged him "uh these are my band mates, Jay, Max, Siva and Tom" he said introducing them "Hey guys" Joe smiled and hugged them. Nathan looked over and saw Demi, she looked even more beautiful since the last day he talked to her. He then saw Nick waving him over, and he walked over "Demi, you remember Nathan, he helped write on the Jonas Brothers album" he said, as he put his arm around his shoulder. Demi looked up at the brown haired boy, he was a lot different from what she remembered. When she last saw him, he was a skinny floppy haired sixteen year old who had just flown out to L.A for the first time. He was much different from the broad shouldered, short brown haired man she was looking at now. He had grown and matured from a skinny teen to a gorgeous and attractive man who was wearing a white button down shirt and dark blue ripped skinny jeans.
"It's so good to see you again" Demi smiled and hugged him "You too" Nathan said returning the hug "Come sit with us" Demi said and Nathan joined them. "So what you doing now?!" Demi asked "I'm in a band, called Lawson and yeah we've just started our first US tour" he said "That's so awesome" she said. "Yeah, I love your new song by the way" he said "Ah thankyou" she smiled. Joe and the boys walked over and joined them "So did you guys know about Nathan's claim to fame" Joe laughed "Yeah we didn't actually believe him when he first told us, we were like nah you didn't, it was just like too far out there" Max said "Basically he auditioned and we asked him, have you written before, he said yeah and as a joke we asked this nineteen year old, if he had any accolades and he was like oh yeah I wrote with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato like a year ago in L.A. We just sat there like wow he's making stuff up to impress us, he's a bit psycho but he must really want to be in the band and then he showed us the album leaflet and there his name was and he pics of being with you guys and we were all like what the fuck" Jay said.

Nathan, Nick and Demi were talking about the old days "The time I was writing with you was when you were going through the phase of Miley, Selena drama, and I was like dude just make a choice, and you were like but it's crazy I like them both" Nathan said doing an impression of Nick. Demi placed her hand on Nathan's arm as she laughed "Dude, it was crazy but at that time it seemed like the most important thing in the world " Nick said chuckling. "I'm gonna go out for a smoke, wanna join" he said "Nah mate i'm good" Nathan said "No thanks dude" Demi said. Nick sensed they wanted to be left alone and got up and walked to the smoking area.
Nathan looked at Demi, "do you want to dance?" he asked "sure" she smiled, he took her hand and leaded her to the dance floor. He took her hands and they danced to the rhythm of the beat. He spun her round and then she placed her hands round his waist he placed his hands round her waist. He looked in her eyes and lent in a bit, she lent in as well. Their lips then collided together, as they kissed for the first time. She pulled away and smiled, he pulled her in and kissed her head. "Shall we get a drink?" he asked "sure" she smiled and took his hand as they left the VIP lounge and went to the main bar. Nathan put a protective arm around Demi's waist to make sure they didn't lose each other, as they made it through the crowd. As they got to the bar, a drunk latino man approached Demi "Hey mamcita, do you wanna dance" he asked "No thanks" Demi said. "Dude, I don't think she wants to dance" he said "Who's this dude? Your boyfriend" the drunk man laughed "Yes, he is" Demi said, taking Nathan's face and placing her lips on his, kissing him deeply as he opened his mouth, her tongue begged for entrance as he allowed it, he pulled her body closer into him as she placed his arms around his neck. He pulled away, and Demi turned around "Pfft whatever" the man said as he got his drink and walked away. Nathan, just stood there with his mouth open "I'm sorry, I just wanted him to go away" she said "No it's fine. Seriously you don't need to apologise" he said, before kissing her cheek. He then turned to the barman and ordered a red bull and a beer, Demi got her purse out "I got this" Nathan said and paid the barman. He put his hand on her back protectively, as they walked back to the VIP lounge, hand in hand.
They walked back into the VIP lounge, and sat in the booth with Joe, Nick and the other members of Lawson. Demi whispered in Nathans ear "Give me your phone" she said, he got it out of his pocket and handed it to her. She put her number in his phone, he smiled as she handed the phone back to him. "I've got a gig tomorrow, at the Los Angeles Theatre would you like to come?" he asked "Yeah that sounds awesome" Demi said. "Nick and Joe, can come if you'd like, to keep you company" he said. "Yeah sounds awesome" Demi smiled. Nathan kissed her cheek "I'll text you the details" he said. Demi smiled, as he put his arm around her seat.
Nick looked at them and smiled, it had been a while since he saw his best friend genuinely smile around a guy she liked. Even though he was protective of Demi, if Nathan and Demi worked out he knew that Nathan was a really good guy and he would be good for her, since her last boyfriend thought it was okay for his friends to humilate and chat shit about her on a live chat, while he sat there and did nothing. He also hoped for selfish reasons that he would become close to Nathan again, they got really close when he was writing the band, due to them being similar ages and having similar interests. Over the years they had met up but it had been five years since they hung out, even though they chatted over email and text it wasn't the same as hanging out with him.
