Jay sat at the piano, he was writing for the new album with his bandmates and the producer Benny Blanco in Benny's lounge. Jay began playing "I've got a melody but not the lyrics" he sang. Benny's phone then buzzed "oh shit, Selena just reminded me we are having a party tonight if you guys wanted to join. Shouldn't be too mental just some friends hanging out" he shrugged nocholantly "yeah mate I'm in" Jay said, the other boys also agreed to go. "does Selena have any cute friends we can set Jay up with?" Max laughed "yeah man she has a few! I'm sure you'll meet them tonight" Benny laughed.

The four boys walked up to the mansion, with some wine and beers "I think we should have brought more" Max said "mate I think we've got enough to sedate a horse. I'm sure it will be plenty" Jay said. Nathan knocked on the door. It was then opened by Benny "hey guys come on in. Glad you could make it. You've saved me from a girls night" he smiled "thanks mate" Jay smiled. They walked into the property, and followed Benny into the kitchen "just stick the drinks in the fridge, there's pizza and stuff over there" Benny said "thanks mate" Siva said. The boys were talking to Benny when Selena walked over "hey hunny" she said and kissed Bennys cheek "hey baby, these are the Lawson boys" he said "oh hey y'all. Benny has spoken so much about you. It's so nice to meet you" she said, giving each of them a small hug.
"Hi, it's so nice to meet you" Jay said "omg your so tall. What's the weather like up there" she laughed "I've heard that before" he laughed.
She then looked at Siva "oh my god what are they feeding you in Lawson camp" she laughed. Jay and Siva laughed. "Anyway I am a massive fan. Benny has played me a few of your songs and y'all are so talented" she said. "Ah thankyou so much" Max said "yeah thankyou it means a lot" Jay said.

The boys walked out with Benny. Jay was talking to Max as they sat down "girls these are the Lawson boys" Selena said "boys this is Ashley, Courtney, Francia and Camila" she said. The boys said hello and sat down out on the decking. "Is Raquelle coming tonight?" Ashley asked "yeah she's on said she just needs to sort something out and then she'll be over" Selena said.

10pm
Everyone sat around the fire in the lounge.
Jay looked at the time, he was thinking of calling it a night. He had a busy day and wanted an early night. He was just about to leave, until Selena's doorbell rang. Selena stood up and walked over to the door "Hey Raq!" she smiled and hugged her "come in" she said "thanks hun" Raquelle said. They walked into the lounge, the girls got up and hugged her. Benny went over and hugged her "oh come and meet the Lawson guys" Selena said "this is Nathan, Max, Siva and Jay" she said.
Jay looked at Raquelle, she was perfect, she was blonde, petite with the most beautiful blue eyes. It was like he was blind to everyone else in the room. She smiled at him and walked over "it's Jay right? Can I sit here?" she asked pointing next to him "uh yeah of course" he smiled whilst blushing. Jay looked at Max "speak to her", he mouthed. Jay looked back at Raquelle "so uh what do you do?" he asked "I'm Selenas assistant" she said "oh cool uhm I'm sorry I'm not normally this shit at conversation" Jay said. Raquelle giggled "you have a really cute laugh" he said. Raquelle blushed. Benny leaned over to Max "I think someone may be putting the lyrics to the melody" he said. Max nodded in agreement and smiled.

Jay was getting ready to leave, he turned to Raquelle "so if your free we are playing at the El Ray theatre tomorrow night...if your free would you want to come?" he asked nervously. She smiled softly "yeah I'd like that" she said "cool, see you then" he said, she stood up and they nervously gave each other a hug. The other three boys smiled at one another, they hadn't seen Jay act like this before.

The next night.
Raquelle was stood with Selena and Benny, waiting for Lawson to come out on stage. Selena had been taking pictures with fans and they had said hello to Benny and Raquelle.
Lawson walked out on stage, Jay looked for one girl in particular, he then locked eyes with her and he smiled widely. She smiled and waved at him. He smiled and waved back.
Halfway through the set.
Jay came to the microphone "so we are currently writing our new album with the incredible Benny Blanco, I wanted to share with you a new song that I only finished this morning, I wrote it about a girl who's here tonight. This is blind" he said and began to sing the song. Selena squeezed Raquelles shoulder as the song was sang. "It's about you" Benny said to her. Raquelle smiled and blushed. Raquelle watched Jay, she couldn't help but smile. He looked at her whilst he sang and she couldn't help but feel her heart soar.
After the show.
The girls and Benny were meeting the boys at the backstage bar. Benny was getting drinks "I'm kind of nervous to see Jay and I don't know why" Raquelle admitted. "Cause you like him! And he also wrote a really sweet song" she said. Raquelle blushed "it was a really sweet song and he's pretty cute. But I dunno dating a musician. Him going on tour...." she said. "I get it. It can be tough but Jay seems really sweet and I don't think he'd be a dirtbag....speaking of" Selena said as her eyes went over to the door. Raquelles eyes followed and saw Lawson walk in. Jay smiled and waved at Raquelle, he walked over to her "I'll leave you too it" she said, as Jay approached with a beer in his hand. She smiled at him "awesome show Jay" she said "thankyou Selena" he said, she smiled and walked over to Benny.
"Hey" he smiled "hey" she said "do you want a drink?" he asked. "I'm good thanks" she said as she pointed at hers. "Can I sit?" he asked. "Yeah of course" she said. He took a swig of beer "so what do you think of the show?" he asked "it was awesome" she said. He nodded "and the song?" he asked nervously. She leaned in and whispered "I want you too, can I try something?" she asked. He smiled "uh sure" he said. She leant in further and captured his lips softly. He deepened the kiss as she placed her hand on his cheek.
