Demi stood outside a restaurant in L.A, with her family. They were waiting for some friends to join them. They heard a flood of teenage sqeuals come towards them "The Lovatics have found you" Maddie teased. Demi smiled a bit, but it wasnt the lovatics. A brown haired, green eyed boy walked round the corner, in a black t shirt, blue skinny jeans and black hi tops. The girl flurried around him, as he lapped up the attention. He signed, took pictures, hugged and smiled that million dollar smile for the teenage girls. His bodyguard the guided him inside. He smiled politley at the family. Maddie stood there in awe of him. "Nathan Sykes just smiled at me" she said in amazement. "Who?!" Demi asked "You don't know who Nathan Sykes is. He. Is. Amazing" Maddie said. "He was in the wanted. The heartthrob of the band. He was seen as the good boy, who had the exceptional voice. Scooter Braun gave him a solo contract after the wanted split. And as we've seen he's got a fanbase" Eddie said. "Have you heard Almost is never enough, by Ariana Grande" Maddie asked "Yeah" Demi said. "He's the male vocalist on it. I hadnt really listened to the Wanted, but then I heard his voice on Arianas song and I just automatically became a fan of his" Maddie smiled. "Really ? His voice is amazing" Demi said.
After their friends had joined them. They went inside.
Nathans table was across from Demi's. Maddie gawped at him "Go and say hi" Demi said "Can you come with me" Maddie asked "Mphmm fine" she said, they both got up and walked over. Nathan was sat with Scooter, his security guard and his P.A. He smiled at Maddie "Hi" he said. "Hey, I just wanted to say that i'm a massive fan. Can I have a picture with you and an autograph" she asked "Oh sure love" he said in a thick english accent which would make any girl swoon. "This is my sister Demi" Maddie said "Oh hey. I'm a big fan" he smiled, loking up after he signed the autograph "Thankyou. I'm a fan of yours too" she said. "She didn't know who you were till I told her outside" Maddie said "Haha. No worries, i didnt expect you too" Nathan smiled. Demi was impressed at how humble and down to earth he was. "Can I also have a hug" Maddie asked "Sure" Nathan said, he got up and gave Maddie a bear hug. Maddie swooned in his arms. She pulled away "Thankyou" she said shyly and went back to her seat. "Thanks" Demi smiled.
Nathan saw Maddie had dropped her pen. "Excuse me guys" he said, before wiping his mouth, with a napkin the walking over. "Hey sorry to interrupt but Maddie you dropped your pen" he smiled "Thankyou" she smiled brightly "No worries. Enjoy your meal guys" he smiled warmly and walked back over to the table. "What a nice boy" Dianna said. "He's a cutie" Dallas said, looking over at him.
Demi smiled slightly, she kept looking over at him. He laughed and talked with the people on his table. One she recognised as Scooter Braun, she had met him a couple of time as she had hung out with Justin Bieber at award shows. The other was his bodyguard, as he had lead Nathan into the building. Third was a blonde, short woman. Who she didn't recognise.
Later she excused herself to go the bathroom. After she had finished, she walked out and bumped into someone. "Oh sorry" she heard a britsh accent say "No worries" Demi smiled politely then walked away. "Demi wait." Nathan said. Demi turned around. "You know who Ed sheeran is right" Nathan asked "Yeah why?" Demi asked. "Well i'm the studio with him over the next week all day, everyday, In.L.A so if you want to drop in and record some vocals or hang out, that would be cool" Nathan said nervously scratching behind his head. "Thats sounds cool. Maybe.What studio ?" Demi asked "Uh the one of 6th avenue" he smiled. She nodded "Okay sounds great" she smiled, then walked back to her table.
The Next Day at 10am
Nathan walked into the studio. He saw Ed. "Yarite mate" Nathan smiled. "Heya" he smiled. They hugged and both sat next to each other at the booth. "You seem happy" Ed said. "Yeah, well i get to hang out with you" Nathan smiled. "As much as i'd like to believe that true. I don't" Ed said. "Ha. I uh bumped into Demi Lovato at Craigs restaurant last night. Mate shes so fuckin beautiful" Nathan said beaming. "Has someone got a crush" Ed said. "Haha, I don't know. I thought she was cute, i'd seen her in magazines and shit but now i've seen her in person, she's gorgeous" Nathan smiled. "Haha. Well you might be too late Romeo" Ed said. "Why" Nathan asked "She has a boyfriend, called Wilmer Valderamma. From what i've heard through the grapevine they're pretty serious" Ed said. "How serious" Nathan asked. "Like he wants to propose. He's like thirty three, so I don't blame him. I would want to settle down at that age" Ed said. Nathan nodded agreeing. Ed went on his phone, "There's a picture of him and Demi" Ed said, showing Nathan. "I've also heard through the grapevine, he can be a shitty boyfriend" Ed said. "Oh ?" Nathan asked. "Yeah, he has a rep for flirting, going clubbing and drinking. But apparentely he saved Demi so I give him credit for that" Ed said. Nathan nodded "Yeah but the past shouldnt affect your future desicions" Nathan said. "What chinese cookie, did you get that out of" Ed said joking. Nathan laughed "But anyways, I told her that we were hanging out over the week and I asked her if she wanted to join and she said maybe" Nathan said.
Two Hours Later.
The boys are writing a song, when there was a knock on the door. Nathan turned round and saw Demi. He smiled and waved her to come in "Hi" he smiled. "Hey" Demi said "You've met Ed right" Nathan asked "Yeah we met at the TCA's" Demi smiled. "We did. Yarite" Ed smiled, giving her a quick hug. "So you working on anything at the moment Demi. Like album wise ?" Nathan asked. "Yeah, I just finished my neon lights tour last month, so I wanted to get back in the studio" Demi said. Nathan nodded "Fair doos" he said. Ed smiled slightly at him "Dont worry your in safe hands, if you want us to help you write some songs" Ed said. "What about you guys" Demi asked, sitting on the sofa behind them. "Nothing really. We just come here to hang out and write music. If we like something, we send it to an artist that we think can sing it, or we record it ourselves and then wait till we have an album we're working on" Nathan said. Ed agreed nodding. "Thats cool. Your label isnt bothered, that you're not working on something" Demi asked "Well I havent got a label at the moment, but Scooter isnt really arsed. I've given him the last two years of hard work, hard slog. He was like yeah take a break, write for other artists. But i'm also working on some solo stuff. I also dont want the fans to be like ohh he left the wanted to have a solo career. So taking it slow to release stuff so that the fans have time to properley get over the split" " Nathan said. Demi nodded "Oh okay, are you guys gonna get back together or ?" Demi asked "Who knows. We're doing different things, we were together pretty much all day everyday. For the last five years. So just naturally we just needed to take a long break from each other ya know. Everyone was getting on each other's nerves there was tension" Nathan said. "Fair enough . I get where your coming from. I love my best friends but i dont think I could spend pretty much all day everyday with them for five years haha" Demi smiled. Nathan smiled.
"I'm gonna go and pick up food, what dya want" Ed said. "Where you going" Nathan asked "The pizzeria down the road" Ed said. "Just get me pepperoni. Demi ?" Nathan asked "The same please" she asked going into her bag, to get money" No its fine I got. Your my guest" Nathan smiled and handed Ed a twenty dollar bill. "In a bit mate" Ed said. "Yeah in a bit mate" Nathan said. Ed smiled at Demi as he left.
"How long you known Ed for" Demi asked "Oooh i'd say three or four years. He is a good guy" Nathan said. "Do all the british artisits know each other" Demi asked. "Haha. Yeah you'd think so. But no, we met Ed on the circuit, he was upcoming when we were. So we were kinda doing the same things so we could relate" Nathan said. "I hear you have a feud with 1D though" she smiled "No. I don't personally have a problem with them. They're good guys. It was mainly Max and Tom who fought with them, I just stayed out of it. I'm not like that. I'm a lover not a fighter" he smiled crookedly. Demi giggled. "So what about you though, how'd you start" Nathan asked. "Camp Rock was my break, but I've been performing since I was seven" Demi said, Nathan nodded "Alright... My sisters a massive fan of yours though, like shes got all your albums" Nathan said "Haha, You haven't ?" Demi teased "Well I actually downloaded your last album" Nathan smiled. "Oh okay whats your favourite. You can't say Heart Attack, Neon Lights or Made in the USA as there singles" Demi said smiling "Oh okay uhm Warrior or Nightingale. Because your vocals are amazing, not that they weren't amazing on the other ones. But I was very impressed by them two songs, and too prove it" Nathan smiled, getting his ipod from his pocket, he went on it and showed her "Okay I believe you now" Demi smiled. Nathan blushed. "You got the Wanted on your phone" Nathan asked "uhm" she said. "i'm joking" Nathan smiled. "I have almost is never enough" Demi said "Oh thats alright then." Nathan said smiling. Demi showed him. Nathan smiled "I believed you anyway" he smiled.
"So you gonna be wanting to write some love songs on the album" he asked. "what ?" Demi asked. "Ed told me you were in a serious relationship" he said, looking at her. "Yeah. I mean i'm dating a guy called Wilmer, but i don't know where its going really" she said. "Why ?" he asked. "He wants to start a family. Hes thirty-two which I totally get he wants to settle down, it's just i'm.." she said, Nathan interupted her "not ready" he asked. She nodded "You shouldnt feel bad for that. If you're not ready, you're not ready" he said smiling gently at her. Her heart skipped a beat. Her phone then buzzed, it was Wilmer. "Its a text from Wilmer" she said. "What does it say" Nathan asked. "He wants too talk" Demi said. "Ask him to come down here, theres a lounge" he smiled. "Yeah I might do that" she smiled.
A month later.
Wilmer and Demi have split, due to different reasons. One being Demi started to like Nathan, she didnt expect him to be so sweet and cute. They were in the studio one day, working of a song of Demis. Ed was out promoting his new single.
Their hands touched, as Nathan reached for another pen. He looked in her eyes, she looked back. He slowly leaned in, she did too. "I like you Demi" he whispered. "I like you too Nathan" she said, she put her hand on his cheek and kissed his lips softly.
