Piper rushed frantically around her room , in her apartment in NYC. Alex looked up from the bed, "Pipes" she said, her girlfriend still panicked and frantically packing, Alex had done her packing the night before. "Piper!" Alex said a little louder. Piper looked at her "Relax okay?" Alex said, patting the bed "Come here" she said. Piper looked at the case and then looked at her girlfriend, she gave in an walked over to the bed. "Everything is going to be fine, it's just a weekend" she said, pecking Pipers head "You don't get my parents, they're so judgemental and prejudiced. I haven't even come out to them yet. I just don't know how they're gonna react" she said. "Well you are, and we're gonna be doing it together" Alex said. "Promise you'll be right by my side" the blonde said looking at the brunette "Like always kid" Alex said smiling and kissed her lips. "You nearly ready to go" Alex asked, stroking Pipers hair "Yeah, I think so" Piper said.

Alex got a text, from Nicky it said she was outside, they grabbed their bags and put their shoes on and went out to the car, where the bushy haired girl was standing. "Hey. Non lesbians" she said jokingly. That was there nickname ever since Piper and Alex tried to deny that they had feelings for each other, but soon enough it got too strong and they couldn't hold back their feelings for each other. Nicky drove them to the airport and joked about Pipers parents going for Alex, once she found out that she made their princess into a sex perverted lesbian. Piper knew she was only joking, so she took it light heartedly. But she couldn't help but feel nervous, about telling her family.

A Few Hours Later
Alex and Piper made their way through the airport, searching for Piper's younger brother Nathan, who was going to be collecting them from the airport. He and his wife were the only two who knew about Piper and Alex. Piper spotted her younger brother waiting by his Audi Q7. He spotted them and walked over "NATH!" Piper beamed and ran over, giving her younger brother a big hug. "Hey Pipes" he smiled and hugged back "I missed you" she beamed, which was true. Her younger brother was really only the family she missed. He had his own family now, who Piper adored. They pulled away "Hi Alex" he smiled and gave the brunette a hug. "You ready to face the music ?" he asked. Piper nodded "Yup let's go" she said nervously. "I'm on your side whatever Pipes" Nathan smiled "I know" she said and pecked his head.
They got in the car
"So how's the restaurant coming along" Alex asked Nathan "It's awesome, yeah just getting the last stuff in for the opening. You're both coming right" he asked while driving. "Course we are" Piper smiled at Alex who was in the back. "Good, we were actually thinking of moving over to NYC for a while, until the restaurant takes off" Nathan said "Really?" Piper beamed "Yeah thought Ri might wanna see his Auntie Piper and Alex a bit more often" he smiled "That's be awesome" Piper smiled. "So how's business Alex" Nathan asked. While Alex and Nathan spoke about each others thriving business, she couldn't help but smile. Both her favourite people in the world, get on like a house on fire. She couldn't help but remember the first time they met, and how Nathan came to know about them.
Flashback
It was 9pm. Piper had her head was watching garbage on tv, waiting for her girlfriend to get home from work. There was a knock on the door, she walked over wondering who it was. She opened it, it was her younger brother Nathan "Surprise!" he smiled. "Oh my! Hey what are you doing here" she beamed "I'm opening a restaurant over here, I thought mom would've told you" he said "Well between the have you got engaged yet, or have you got a boyfriend yet. I kinda zone out" she said "Fair enough,me too. Buuut hows my big sis" he smiled and hugged her "I'm awesome, it's so good to see you. Come in" she smiled "How'd you get my address" she asked "Oh yeah mom has a tracking device on you" he joked." Haha very funny" she said "Nah, mom and google maps. I thought you'd be happy to see your baby brother" he said pretending to be offended. "I am, course I am" she said giving him another hug. "How's the restaurant coming along" she asked walking into the kitchen "Awesome, really coming together" he said, noticing a leather jacket and pair of combat boots near the tv. "Never knew you were into leather jacket and combat boots Pips. N.Y.C'S changing you" he joked. Piper nodded nervously. "Have you got a beer, I could really do with alcohol?" he asked. Piper smiled and handed him a beer from the fridge "And beers in your fridge, you badass" he joked "Shut up and drink it" she said. Nathan noticed pictures of his sister and a taller brunette girl, he didn't question it 'could be her best friend' he thought. "Do you wanna sit" she asked "Yes please!" he said, sitting in the lazyboy recliner. "How's Dem and Riley" Piper asked "There good, Riley wants to know when he'll see auntie Piper again and Demi is aswell" he said "You should bring them next time your up" she smiled "Yeah I would've but Dem had this work thing or something" he said "Your talent never laid in listening has it" she giggles "Not really" he smiled taking a swig from his beer. "How are you and Demi ?" she asked "Well Dr Phil" Nathan joked, while Piper threw a cushion at him "No we're good, shes still my beautiful wife and that'll never change" he smiled "I need the kleenex" she teased. The door lock opened 'shit' Piper thought, she looked at the clock, Alex was home early. "You okay Piper?" Nathan asked, when the brunette walked in "Pipes, babe i'm home. You missed me" she said walking into the lounge "Uh" Nathan said confused. Alex looked at Nathan with the same expression. "Hey Alex, this is my younger brother Nathan, and Nath (getting up from the couch and walking over to Alex, she grabbed her hand) this is my girlfriend Alex" she said nervously not knowing Nathans reaction. "Your gay?" he asked. Piper looked at him "Damn" he said "What?" Piper asked "I mean....for fuck sake" he said. Piper getting even more nervous "Nath...I "she said "I owe Tom fifty dollars now" he said "What?" she said "We had a bet for when you'd come out doofus. Tom and I have known all along" he said smiling a little. She looked at him "How" she asked "Pretty obvious, your not exactly subtle P. I mean looking at Holly Ainsworth or having a major crush on Mrs Lampard....." he laughed, she looked at him "Your not mad?" she asked "Why would I be mad? You found someone who you love, whether that'd be a girl or a guy and whoever thinks otherwise can go and fuck themselves. It's same love. Pipes, I love you and nothings gonna change that. I don't care whether you wanted to date fucking aliens, your my big sister and that's all I care about. Tom and I both don't care, we want you too be happy" he said, she let go of Alex's hand and went to hug her younger brother. "I love you bud" she said "love you too Pipes" he said. "So as I was saying this is Alex" she said pulling away from the hug "Hey" Nathan smiled, opening his arms for a hug, she happily received it and hugged back. For the next few hours they sat and talked about Piper and Nathans childhood and Alex saw, the love Piper had for her younger brother. Alex wasn't expecting him to be like this, but she could say that he was awesome, the way that he had just accepted her and Piper and the only thing he was annoyed by was giving Pipers other brother money was humorous to Alex. She truly felt accepted by him, but she knew it wasn't going to be that easy meeting the rest of her girlfriend's family.
