Jay unlocked his apartment door, with a tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and a bottle of wine. He put the ice cream in the freezer and the wine on the table. Racquel was going to be here in an hour. He went into his bedroom, he took off his uniform and got into the shower. He washed his muscular body and curly hair. He got out and placed a towel around him. He put on a pair of sports shorts and a t-shirt. He fixed his hair and looked at the time. She was going to be here in 20 minutes. He was nervous, really nervous. He really wanted to impress her. He knew she was way out of his league, she worked and was best friends with Selena Gomez. She worked in showbiz she could have any guy she wanted. He had to make an impression. He went on his phone and called his favourite pizza place Gino's and ordered two pizzas. He got two wine glasses, turned the TV on and put Netflix on. He lit some candles on the tables around the sofa. His phone then buzzed it was Racquel.
R: I'm so sorry won't be able to make it tonight. I've got to stay behind and finish booking venues, for Sels upcoming promo tour. Maybe another time? I'm so sorry I was really looking forward to seeing you ❤️
Jay sighed sadly, he had been counting down the minutes until he saw her this morning. There was then a knock at the door, he opened it and paid for the pizzas.
He put them on the kitchen island. He then had a thought, if Racquel couldn't come to her, he'd go to her. He grabbed the two pizzas, ice cream and put it in a bag with two spoons. He grabbed the bag, blew out the candles and left the apartment, locking it on his way out.
He got in his pick up truck and drove to where he dropped Racquel off that morning. He pulled into the car park and got out. He texted Nareesha on the way and she gave him the code to get in the door. After putting the code into the door, he walked into the offices with the bag. It was empty, he looked at the time it was 9pm. He went up some stairs and saw a light on in one of the offices.
He walked over, and saw Racquel working on her laptop, a mug beside her. She picked it up and slowly sipped it. He smiled, she was beautiful. He knocked on the door gently, she looked up surprised. She smiled "Jay hi?!" she said "I thought you may be hungry and you couldn't come to the date so thought I'd bring it to you" he said as he showed her the pizza boxes. She smiled and nodded "thanks Jay that's really sweet" she said. He walked in and placed the food on the table. "I even brought ice cream" he said. She stood up from her laptop and said walked over to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him softly. He returned the kiss, his heart fluttering . He placed his hands on her waist and returned the kiss.

10 minutes earlier
Racquel ran her hands through her hair. She was so frustrated. Allin, Selena's manager now wanted every date and venue confirmed on her desk by first thing tomorrow. For some reason she wanted to bring everything forward. She originally till had the end of the week but now Allin changed her mind and wanted them asap. She had been sitting at this desk for five hours, calling and emailing every vendor. And to top it all off, she has to cancel with a really cute and sweet guy who she couldn't stop thinking about. Her life sucked..
There was a knock on the door. She looked up expecting to see a pissed off cleaner. But instead she saw the curly haired blue eyed boy she couldn't stop thinking about, with a bag of food and two pizza boxes. He brought food for her and ice cream. Even though she couldn't make it to his, he still really wanted to see her. He really was incredible. He placed the boxes on the table, with the ice cream and two spoons. She smiled, he looked so gorgeous in his t-shirt and shorts, she wanted to rip off his clothes and for her to take her here on the desk. She walked over and wrapped her arms around him. He put his hands on her waist bringing her closer. Her heart fluttered whilst looking into his eyes. She kissed him softly, and he returned it. He then kissed her head softly.
"You hungry?" he asked bringing her out of her thoughts "starving I haven't eaten since like 10am" she laughed "good cause there's loads" he said "but before that" he said bringing her into him and kissing her again softly. She returned the kiss, putting her arms around his neck again.
They then sat down and ate. Racquel kept on working as Jay kept her company for the next few hours. He lightened the mood and made her laugh, they chatted and got closer to one another. At the end of the night Jay dropped her home and kissed her goodnight.
Racquel knew that with Jay she'd never want to go back to the day before she met him.
