Demi knocked on the house of her best friend. Nathan her older brother answered it.
"Oh hi Demi. Selena's upstairs" he smiled as Demi walked in and blushed "thanks" she smiled back at her best friends adoptive brother and went upstairs. Nathan smiled and shook his head and went back to his guitar, to write more songs.
Half an hour
Demi walked downstairs to get a glass of water. He heard Nathan singing and strumming his guitar. Demi always loved the sound of his voice especially when he was singing. "Then one summer day, I saw you laying by a swimming pool, and i was thinking damn you really changed. You opened up my eyes." he sang, strumming his guitar at the same time. Demi put her ear to the door, when it suddenly opened. "Oh hey dem" he smiled "hi uh..i saw a mark on your door so i was getting rid of it" she smiled "riiight" he smiled "its okay if you were listening to me sing" he smiled "you have a nice voice" she smiled "thankyou....you have a nice voice too" he smiled "no i dont" she blushed. "You do, you should do the talent show on saturday" he smiled "i dunno" she smiled "i'll be there....but it'd be uh nice if you came i mean my band are performing soo ya know uhm..." he rambled "yeah okay is your sister going" she asked "uh yeah. But i really want YOU to come" he smiled "okay i'll be there" she smiled "great it starts at 7pm" he smiled. Demi nodded her head, and went to the kitchen to get some water. Nathan checked her out on the way and then he went upstairs to get his phone.
On Saturday Night
Nathan was setting up with his band when he saw Demi, Selena and Nick, Selena's boyfriend walked in. Nathan waved, jumped off the stage and went over to them "Hey" he smiled and hugged Nick and his sister, he then held Demi for a bit longer, so he could just have her in his arms. Demi blushed in his arms and put her head in his neck. Selena smiled and looked at Nick, he kissed her on the head. Demi pulled away. "I better get back to the band" he smiled and started to walk away slowly, but kept looking at Demi as he left.
"Hello, we're called Honor society and this is a song i wrote for a special girl, i just wanted to tell you how i feel" he smiled and started to sing "See U in the Dark". After the song he smiled, thanked the audience and him and his band got off the stage.
He walked over to the bar with his friends and ordered a beer, he saw Demi, with his sister and her boyfriend. "Excuse me boys" he smiled, put his beer down and walked over to Demi. "Hey Demz you wanna dance" he smiled and held his hand out "sure" she smiled and they went to the dancefloor. She put her arms round his neck and he placed them round her waist. "Did you like the song" he asked "yeah it was really good, who'd you write it for" she smiled "guess" he smiled "Dionne" she said upset "what no..." he said and then kissed her softly "it was bout you demi, it always has been, i've had a crush on you ever since you became besties with my sister" he said. Demi smiled, blushed and kissed him again "i've had a crush on you too" she smiled. They looked in the corner and saw Selena jumping for joy, while Nick smiled and waved at them a bit.
Kelsey and Tom walked over "nice one man" Tom smiled and patted him on the back, Nathan smiled "thanks bro" he smiled and held demi closer. They kissed again and for both of them it felt like fireworks were going off.
For the rest of the night. Nathan held Demi in his arms and they cuddled and kissed, they were finally together. And they didnt care who saw that they were showing PDA.
