Nathan finished his reps, and took a swig of water from his bottle. He looked over and saw a girl on the other side of the weights room. She had a pair of tight black sweatpants and a pink vest, she was so stunning he thought as he stared at her. 'Shit i'm staring at her. Nathan stop staring at her you creep' he thought, as he physically had to change his position. He decided to just carry on with his reps as she walked over to him and went on the equipment next to him, he decided to go faster to try and impress her until he physically couldn't do anymore reps. He then sat up and wiped the sweat from his forehead. He then heard an angelic voice say "are you finished with the machine?" she asked "uhh yeah, sorry yeah" he stuttered before he wiped it down. 'Smooth' he thought to himself as he got up and got off the equipment, he smiled and went to the other side of the room, to the punching bag, he kept looking over admiring Demi doing her reps. His friend Gabby then walked over to him "who you looking at?" she asked, trying to look at his eyeline "Er no one" he blushed "Uh huh, so you weren't checking Demi Lovato out?!" she asked raising an eyebrow "pfft Demi who? I don't know what your talking about" he said "sure dude sure" she nodded lifting a eyebrow "you finished?" he asked "trying to change the subject, but yes" she said "alright let's go then" he said "you're sure you don't want to stick around and check Demi out" she teased "shut up" he said pushing her playfully.

After he had dropped Gabby back at her apartment, he made his way over to his house. He walked in and dropped his bag by the door, tonight was his best friends and band mates birthday party. He walked, Jay walked in "heyy birthday boy!" he said with a smile "Hey mate, is it cool if Marissa brings a few friends over" he asked "sure mate, how many?" Nathan said, walking over to the kitchen "only two I think" he said. Nathan nodded and took some food out. He was looking forward to tonight, since coming over to L.A with his four best friends six months ago they had made a lot of solid friendships with their neighbours and their friends. Nathan, Gabby and her friend Liza went to the same gym so they decided, whenever they could they would go together.

Nathan swigged a whiskey and soda and was speaking to his friends, "so who's this Marissa girl?" Zane asked "Ah dude yeah, they met like a week ago. And they've been talking ever since" Nathan asked "how'd they meet" Heath asked "tinder" Nathan said. "Have you seen him on tinder?" David asked Gabby "Yeah but I swiped left, that'd be weird" she said "imagine if he swiped right and he knows you rejected him" Zane laughed "that's why he's been crying every night!" Nathan joked "yeah tears of joy!" David joked as Gabby hit him. Max then joined the group "what you guys talking about?" he asked "Jay crying tears of joy that he and Gabby didn't match on tinder" Liza said "totally understandable" he joked "fuck you all" Gabby said. "you'd just make him a tinder story...wait that could be really good for the band think of the subscribers! Jay!!" Nathan joked, as he looked over he saw Jay at the door with Marissa and a taller man, who was with a shorter brown haired girl. It was Demi.

"oooohhhh" Gabby said, elbowing him in the stomach "shush" Nathan said putting his hand around her shoulder and over her mouth "whats going on" David asked. Gabby licked Nathans hand "eww" he said retracting it quickly "Nathan was checking that girl out in the gym today" she said pointing at her "gee Gab, don't make it obvious" David laughed "dude it's fine, she probably just thinks of you the creep that stared at her working out" Max said, patting his shoulder "thanks mate" Nathan said dryly. He wrapped his arm around his shoulder "oohh she's coming over!!" he said, "you guys are making me nervous" Nathan said "you should talk to her" Zane said "and say what?!" Nathan asked "how much you love her, how you want to marry her" Gabby said putting an arm around his shoulder "that's how Nathan got a restraining order" David joked.

Jay then walked over with Marissa and her friends "hey guys, this is Marissa and her friends Matt and Demi" he said introducing them. "Oh shit you go to my gym" Demi said to Nathan "yeah maybe" he said trying to be cool, blushing "why you blushing Nath" David joked "awhh Nath has a crush" Zane said "awwww" the girls said "fuck you guys" he said, turning to Demi "would you guys like a drink" he asked trying to change the subject "Yeah a soda would be great" Demi said "make that two" Matt said "alright!" he said before walking over to the drinks table.

As he got the drinks, from the corner of his eye he saw Demi walk over to him to get some snacks "sorry about them, they like to embarass me" he said, she smiled at him "I know the feeling. But no it's cool don't worry about it, this may be weird but that girl with you in the gym, was she your girlfriend?" she asked. Nathan laughed "Gabby. Nooo definitely not! She's like my sister" he laughed a little as Demi smiled "good to know" she said before taking her drink and walked away. He smiled and looked at her as she walked away. He followed with his and Matt's drink.

Nathan walked back to his friends, and smiled at Demi who was speaking to Matt. She smiled back, blushing a little. As he walked over, Gabby and Liza smiled at him "what?!" he asked as he sat on the sofa. "You should ask for her number" Scotty said before taking a swig of his drink, Nathan laughed "nah I've got no chance with her, she's way out of my league" he said, shaking his head "stop putting yourself down dude, you're an awesome guy" Zane said "is this your way of flirting with me" Nathan asked "You finally noticed" Zane joked as he touched Nathans cheek, he laughed and jokingly winked at him.

Demi kept looking at Nathan during the evening, he wasn't her normal type, but he seemed really sweet and he was really cute. She looked over at him, smiling with his friends. His smile made her want to smile, he had really cute dimples and emerald green eyes you could get lost in.

"Guys cmon lets play some games!" Jay said, as he ushered everyone onto the sofa. "What we playing?" Nathan asked, his stomach getting butterflies as Demi sat down next to him "spin the bottle" Jay said with a devious smile.

The bottle landed on Nathan, "alright Nath, you've got truth, dare or seven minutes in heaven with the person next to you" Gabbie said "truth" he said "do you think Demi is hot?!" she asked "Yeah course I do" he said blushing, as Demi did the same. The bottle then span and landed on Demi "Alright, truth dare or seven minutes in heaven" Gabbie asked. Demi smiled shyly "seven minutes in heaven, with Nathan" she said "wooooooooo" everyone said, as Demi put her hand out and Nathan took it they stood up and walked to a bedroom as the others jokingly jeered behind them.

Nathan shut the door of the bedroom "So you think I'm hot?" she asked raising an eyebrow "Doesn't everyone?! I mean you are stunning" he said rubbing the back of his neck. Demi walked over and kissed him lightly, putting her hands on his waist "what was that for?" he asked "this is seven minutes in heaven right" she asked, before biting her lip seductively. Nathan smiled and pulled her in, before kissing her softly. He ran her fingers through his hair as she kissed back her arms going round his neck, pulling him in tighter her tongue begging for entrance he allowed it and kissed her deeper. His hands went under her bottom and lifted her up slightly as they continued to make out.

"Alright lovebirds times up!" Zane said knocking on the door, they then pulled away from each other "wow" he whispered as he giggled before pecking his lips "So do you want to go on a date sometime" he asked, she smiled "I'd like that" she said. he beamed, nodding "alright then, give me your number and i'll call you" he said, before kissing her again. They then left the room and sat down with the group, neither of them could stop smiling.
