Lawson were out on the decking at Benny's, doing another writing session. Jay was strumming his guitar "Selena is going to pop over to hang out is that alright?" Benny asked "yeah sure" the boys said happily.

Raquelle got into Selena's range rover "I need to nip to Benny's first to grab something is that okay?" she asked "sure we're in no rush" she said. Selena had asked her if she wanted to do a bit of retail therapy. Courtney and Ashley were busy so it was just them two.
Selena drove to Benny's house in the Hollywood hills. She buzzed the gates and they opened. She parked and they got out and walked to the door, they went through to the side of the house "Benny said he was in the yard" Selena said and Raquelle nodded happily and followed her. Benny smiled when he saw Selena "hey sweetie. Guys this is Selena and her fr-" Benny said before being interrupted by Jay behind him who'd just come back from getting another guitar "Raquelle?" Jay asked.
Jay and Raquelle stared at each other for a minute. "What are you doing here?" she asked "I'm working, on the new album. What are you doing here?" he asked "leaving. Selena grab whatever it is and I'll meet you by the car" she said before turning away and walking off. "Well go after her!" Benny said. Jay put the guitar down and ran to follow her "wait" he said. "What Jay?! Do you want to humiliate me a second time?" she asked "A second time. What do you mean?" he asked "what you conveniently forgot that you had another date the night we were supposed to get dinner" she said folding her arms "is that why you stood me up?" he asked "yeah I saw that girl, you gave her roses, you hugged her tightly and she went into your hotel room" she said getting annoyed. Jay took a breath "that was my sister, she bought me a shirt for the date and then got me roses" he said "oh convenient that you have an alibi" she said. Jay nodded and went on his phone. He face timed Gaia. "Hey broski what's up??" she asked "can you tell this beautiful girl that your my sister and you bought me a shirt and roses, that evening in Toronto" he said. "Yeah, it was me. Jay didn't have any non golf shirts and I know he'd forget to get flowers so I got him some. Listen I gotta go I've got a meeting" she said "yeah no worries thanks Gaia. Love you" he said "love you too" she said before hanging up.
Raquelle looked sad. Jay's face then softened "if it makes you feel better I haven't stopped thinking about you. I even wrote a song about it...how sad is that" he said. She smiled a little "can I hear it" she asked "uh yeah sure" he said. Benny then appeared with a guitar and handed it to him "uhh thanks mate" he said confused. Jay then played she don't know. He then changed the last words too she does now.
He took the guitar off and held the neck in his hand "I am so sorry. I completely misunderstood" she said. He smiled "it's okay. I wanted to message you but it didn't feel right. I thought you wouldn't even reply anyway and that would make me feel worse" he said with a shrug. "Can we have a second first date. Start this thing again?" she asked. He nodded "I'd really like that. I mean why don't you stay for the writing session. Your a pretty good muse" he smiled. She put a piece of hair behind her ear and blushed "id really like that" she said.

A Year Later.
Lawson are promoting their new album, they are touring, attending signings and radio stations. They have gotten more and more fans over the year, as they have been on Selena's and Benny's social media. Jay and Raquelle don't hide their relationship and they post about each other regularly. Raquelle is aware that there maybe some jealousy out there among Lawson fans but it's only as much as what the other girlfriends go through.
Tonight was Jays final show of the tour. They were both so excited to be able to spend some proper time together after this. Raquelle and her girls walked to the side of the stage to watch Lawson. The lights then dimmed and the screams of delight started to surround the theatre. She then felt a hand on her cheek and saw her boyfriend, she smiled widely and he kissed her. He then told her he loved her before going onto the stage. She smiled widely and watched the love of her life on stage.
