Do you remember when we were kids, we used to make mud pies and play tag ? Spend all day in the park and our mums would have to carry us home. Course you don't. You've forgotten about me. You forgot about me a long time ago. I wasn't there for you when you needed me. But I love you. But you wouldn't know who I was, if you saw me anyways. You think he's the one, but does he know about your birthmark, the way your face lit up when we were on our bikes, or how we were each others first kiss.
I then put my pen down, threw my journal under the bed as I heard a knock on the door. "Come in" I said. It was my mum "lights out hun" she said. I nodded, she walked in kissed me on the head. "Goodnight sweetheart" she said softly "Night mum" I smiled and lay my head on my pillow. I loved her, but she moved on. I loved her ever since we were kids. I closed my eyes and slowly went to sleep thinking about her.
"Nathan get up" I heard my mum yell from downstairs. I slowly opened my eyes, rubbed them and walked into the bathroom. I walked downstairs and greeted my mum with a kiss on the cheek. I saw my sister Abi, her head stuck in a teen bop magazine. I rolled my eyes, "Shouldnt you be getting ready for school" I asked. "Shouldn't you be getting a life" she retorted "Abigail. Be nice" my mother scolded. She sank in her chair, he head back in the magazine. "Mum! Demi Lovatos back in L.A" Abi said excitedly "So ?" I asked "She's awesome" Abi smiled "Shes not that great" I said. "Shut up Nathan" she snapped. "Oooh good comeback" I sniggered. "Nathan! Leave your sister alone!" my mum said, tapping the back of my head. "Anyways I might bump into her" Abi said "Ha yeah right! Abi we just moved ere, you aint just gonna bump into her" I smirked "Mom! Tell him to leave me alone!" Abi said "Nathan leave your sister alone.Abi go and get ready for school" my mother said. "Urgh! You always stick up for him!"Abi huffed and stomped upstairs.
"Why the sudden dislike for Demi Lovato" my mother asked. "I don't dislike her" I said eating my breakfast. "Why the slating her then. You guys were close when you were kids" my mother asked. "Yeah when we were kids, she wouldnt even know me if i walked past her" i said rolling my eyes. "I bet she would" my mother said. I laughed slightly "Yeah right. Nah mum she wouldn't. She forgot about me, she forgot me when she moved to L.A" I said.
I finished my breakfast the put it on the side, "Shes in a serious relationship now. With some actor" I said walked past my mum and went to go and get ready for work.
After I got washed, I stuck on a pair of skinny jeans, white t-shirt and plad shirt. I ran downstairs. "I need to go and open up. Nath hun can you drop your sister off" my mum asked "Sure. Cmon Abi" I said, grabbed my keys, kissed my mum on the cheek and follwed Abi out to my car. I opened it, my sister got in and I got in the other side. I turned on the engine and reversed out the driveway. "Why don't you like Demi Lovato" my sister asked "Haha why would you think I dislike her" I asked. "Because you don't think shes that great" Abi said. "Well sometimes people hide how they feel, so they dont get hurt" I said. "Huh ?" Abi said. "Honestly I think Demi is a beautiful, gorgeous and talented girl" he smiled. "Then why do you make everyone think you dislike her" Abi said. "Do you remember when we lived in Dallas" I asked. She nodded. "Well, remember I used to always hang out with that girl, she was my best friend. Then we moved the U.K and I was distraught because I was leaving her" I asked. Abi nodded. "Well that girl turned out to be Demi Lovato. The international popstar" I said. "Oh. My. God. Really ?" she smiled "Yup. When I was a kid i had a massive crush on her and somehow that crush has gotten bigger and I'm inlove with her" I said. "Nawhh. Did you see those leaked pictures" my sister teased "Haha yes I did." I smiled.
We pulled up at her school. "Now get out of here" I teased . "What if they don't like me" my sister asked "I'm sure they will Abs. Just talk about one direction and they'll love you" I smiled jokingly "I'm bein serious Nate" Abi said folding her arms. "If they don't and you don't like it. Just ring me and I'll come and pick you up" I smiled, kissed her head. She quickly hugged me and got out. I saw her walk into school and then drove off.
