-Erens PoV-

We both stood up at the same time, taking slowly steps towards each other, the heat and tension rising the closer we got. I felt my cheeks heat up and turn red when a light pink danced around his cheeks. He was shorter than me, but only busy about 12 or 10 centimeters. And he had Raven black hair, with piercing grey eyes and pale skin. Which was heating up the more the distance decreased. Soon we were very close, but not touching. "Ummm so how do we do this?" I asked like the retard I am. I mentally face palmed myself and groaned at my stupidity.

"Tch, I'm not fucking lovey dovey. How do you expect me to know?" The man asked with a shrug of his shoulders. He had a deep and sexy manly voice, with each word rolled and danced off his tongue in the most seductive manner. I bit my lip, suppressing all the dirty thoughts. I mean we have only talked for what? 30 seconds? And I already am calling him sexy and seductive? I don't even know the guy's name! "I'm Eren." Introduced with a shy wave and a soft smile.

"Levi." Levi scoffed and looked away from my gaze on him. He was really cute when he was shy. Levi brushed past me, making heat trace up my arm and surge through my body. "Come on brat, let's eat." Levi mumbled under his breath, before he continued to walk away, making me miss the lovely warmth. "Hurry up shitty brat I'm getting cold already." Levi turned around and faced me. I took a deep gulp before following the shorter man to wherever he was leading me. We walked to the corner diner and took a booth in the back.

"Hiya! I'm Sasha and I'll be---- oh my gosh Eren hiiiii!" Sasha said when she walked up to Levi and I's booth. I nodded and waved, and mumbled a silent hi in return. Levi glanced at me with the raise of his furrowed together eyebrows. "The usual for me Sasha." I mumbled quietly as I passed her my small laminated menu with the diners logo. "Comin right up, what about you sir?" She turned to Levi with full attention as he ordered a simple Caesar salad, while my usually consisted of a chicken salad and a water with a slice of lemon. I didn't mind burgers or anything, I just like their salad.

I sat aimlessly looking around at the diners decor while Levi started directly at me with a hard gaze. I was taken out of my train of thought when I noticed him staring so harshly. "What?" I said and felt self conscious. He gave a shrug as Sasha delivered our food, giving me the talk-to-him look. I cleared my throat before picking up the silver fork and stabbing it into my chicken, taking a small bite. Once I took the bite I looked over at Levi, who was taking a small bite from time to time slowly.

"What is your....." I trailed off as I rested my head on my palm as my elbows leaned against the booth table. "Favorite color?" I asked, sipping my drink still gazing at his adorable features. "Black why?" He picked at his salad boredom casting a glance or two at me. I chuckled and leaned back, "black isn't a color." I told him, he sent me a deadly glare, "well then dark dark dark grey, happy? Smartass." He cursed the last word under his breath. "Douche." I mumbled so quiet under my breath, but made sure to be loud enough to hear it.

"Brat."

"Idiot."

"Whatever." He gave up and took a sip of his water. I let out another chuckle. "Mine is blue, like the ocean, I've never been, but I imagine it blue, with little hints of great specked over top of it." I went into detail of my favorite color, blushing at the fact I talked for over 3 minutes over a stupid color. "And---sorry I'm done." My face flushed as I stared at my hands that rest in my lap. "It's okay, I enjoy listening to you." Levi admitted, his grey steel eyes widening as he said that, almost immediately covering his mouth after wards. "That wasn't supposed to come out---" I cut him off with a soft, but audible laugh, "it's fine." I smiled more as I pulled out my charm necklace from underneath my shirt.

"See? We are soulmates, so you can tell me anything." I smiled wider and rubbed it in between my fingers like I did every day. My dream had come true, I met the love of my life. Of course I wasn't expecting it to be a short, well built, manly, stoic, monotone, raven haired guy, but it's my soulmate. Levi took a soft gulp before nodding and standing up, digging through his leather wallet. I waved my hands around, asking him to stop. "No no you don't have to---" he shot me another glare then cut me off "but I want to." He slapped down the 20 dollar bill before grabbing my hand and dragging me it of the diner.

"Where are we going now?" I asked, my feet were filled me and knees hurt, probably bruised. "Somewhere not cliché." Levi replied in a mean and dark tone. I let out another laugh and let him drag me to the most cliché areas of the town. The ice cream parlor, where we figured each other's favorite ice cream flavors and TV shows, also our shoe size, not sure how the topic came up but I was finding more about him which was good. Then to the boardwalk, where we talked about our past, and how we each fought the cold surrounding us until we met each other, and the spell of eternity in the cold was lifted.

We just talked, and had fun doing it. I didn't even realize so many time had passed it was already 11 pm, Mikasa was going to kill me, literally. I stood up, brushing my self off as I nodded to Levi, who had a confused expression, "here take this." Levi said as he shrugged off his jacket and handed it to me, and then a slip of paper, with his number writing in his beat cursive handwriting. I mumbled a silent thanks and walked out, getting colder by the second. I looked at his jacket, pondering the outcomes of putting it on. What would happen? I shrugged and slipped on the slightly worn out sweater. The it did something miraculous.... I felt, warm.

I lowered my nose onto the jacket as I zipped it all the way up, it smelled like him. I took another small inhale of the lavender scent and closed my eyes, feeling at peace. I had finally met my soul mate, it was a perfect day. I waked into the apartment silently, as I tiptoed upstairs, once I had gripped the doorknob leading into my room a click went off and the hallway light shone bright in my face. "Where were you Eren?!" Mikasa yelled with a worried expression. I let out a squeal and jumped around happily holding my apartment keys. "I just ya know...." I trailed off all cool like as I leaned against the wall trying to act natural. "Ya know.....met my soulmate." I mumbled the last part, but due to the silence, Mikasa heard it loud and clear. "You did?? That's great!! Who is she?" She asked and grabbed my shoulders and shook them, prying already.

"It's a guy, and his name is Levi Rivaille, and ----" she held up her hand, stopping me from speaking. Mikasa looked up with an angered expression, "you mean the Levi Rivaille?" Mikasa hissed with a furious expression. I shrugged my shoulders and nodded with pursed lips. She clenched her jaw then her fists, trying to calm herself down.

"Eren..." She paused and took another deep breath. I just nodded and waited anxiously for her to continue.

"Levi Rivaille is a notorious thug, Eren."
