Y/n
Y/n lay sprawled out on the couch, his arm and leg dangling off as he stared at the ceiling. School was about to start; there was a week or so left, and he still hadn't finished all the summer work assigned to him. He sighed loudly and drooped an arm over his eyes. There were too many things to do, and he could barely muster up any intention of doing those things. It didn't help that Chara was on his ass the past few days about training.
Speaking of which...
"Come on, Y/N. It's time for your daily training. Let's go," Chara nagged, arms crossed.
"We've been doing this for the past 3 days already... can't I get a break?" Y/n groaned.
"Nope, you still can't fight properly. Plus you whined like a baby the past three days which pissed me off."
"But have work to finishhhh..." Y/n slumped over the kitchen table.
"Like what?"
"I have school work to finish before classes start, get supplies for said start of classes, mow the lawn, clear out the weeds in the garden and water the plants, go out to buy groceries, and tidy the house because someone keeps leaving wrappers everywhere."
"You can do those things later. It's not like our training goes on for the whole day."
"It's not like the training is a walk in the park either," Y/n scoffed. "It's going to feel like I have 5-ton weights strapped to my body by the end of the day. I'm going to end up barely being able to take a shower, and then I'm going to collapse on the couch doing absolutely nothing after."
"It just sounds like you're being lazy," Chara mumbled flatly.
"I physically can't. I have no idea what fantasy world you come from, but I'm human. I move anymore and my bones shatter into a billion pieces."
"How dramatic. Your training might as well be a walk in the park. I barely broke a sweat."
"Again, I'm pretty sure you're the exception here. My feeble human anatomy can't handle fighting every damn day," he complained.
"Yeah, yeah. Let's go," she hurried dismissively.
"At least let me get started on my laundry before we go," Y/n pleaded with his hands pressed together.
"Lawn—drey?" She sounded out with a confused look on her face.
"Like washing your clothes???" Y/n was simply astonished. He couldn't imagine a world, even one in the middle of nowhere, that didn't have the need to wash clothes.
"Oh yeah. Don't try to waste any time though, this shouldn't take any more than 3 minutes," Chara stated bluntly.
"Okay..." Y/n moped towards the bathroom to collect the laundry basket. Even without looking, Y/n had a feeling she was glaring daggers into his back for walking so slowly.
"Wait a minute— speaking of laundry, you've been wearing that same outfit for the past week. Do you have spares hidden somewhere or am I crazy?" Y/n pointed out suspiciously. "Does your 'magic' also make clothes out of nowhere?"
"I just used the janky machines in the basement. It took some random button presses to get them working, but I figured it out. Those little soap packets are nifty too."
