I'm gonna pick up the pieces,

And build a Lego house

If things go wrong we can knock it down

"Pwedeng makipag-swap?" 

"Ng alin?" Nagtatakang tanong ko kay KJ.

"Basta." Napakamot ito sa batok. "Pwedeng makipag-swap?"

"Ng ano nga? Ng cellphone?"

"Hindi.”

“Huh?”

"Ng puso.”

“What?” I asked incredulously.

 “Palit tayo. Sa iyo na lang ang puso ko. Akin na lang ang puso mo," sabay tawa ng nakakaloko ni KJ.

Halos malaglag ang mga mata ko sa sobrang gulat. Ano 'to? Joke? Muntik na akong mapa-facepalm.

My three words have two meanings,

If you're broken I will mend you and I'll keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging on now

 He stopped laughing when he noticed my expression.

KJ blushed. “Ano? Aren’t you going to react or say something?”

I blinked twice. "Tangina, banat ba iyan?" Nakataas ang kilay na tanong ko.

"Ay hindi. Bugtong. Bugtong iyan. Leche." Nakasimangot na sabi ni KJ. Unconsciously, he pouted.

Aww. What a cute little asshole.

Then, it dawned on me.

This freaking frat man just say that? Oh my Lord. Epic.

Napabunghalit ako ng tawa. Hindi ko na napigilan. Grabe. Ano bang klaseng banat iyon? Nakakaloka!

 "Mais ka ba?" I faked a smile.

"Bakit?" He asked excitedly. Bigla itong napangiti.
