It was as if it never happened, but it did.
It was as if you couldn’t accept it happened, but you must.
Jamais vu.
So, this is what they called the opposite of déjà vu.
Jamais vu.
They say that when a person is in this state, nothing he/she experiences has anything to do with the past. It’s like the person you know and the way you relate to that person simply vanish. It’s like an event really happened to you, but you seem to forget it.
Shit.
Hindi ko binibigyan ng importansiya dati kung ano ang déjà vu. Akala ko it just happens once in a while. I thought it’s a part of your fantasy. A thing you want to happen, or you think a thing that has happened, but it never happened at all. Pero higit pala itong katanggap-tanggap.
It is less painful than jamais vu.
Naramdaman ko bigla ang pagpatak ng tubig sa braso ko.
Nasundan pa ng pangalawang patak.
Pangatlo.
Pang-apat.
Hanggang sunod-sunod ang mga pagpatak ng tubig.
Dahan-dahan akong tumingin sa kalangitan.
Napangiti na lang ako ng mapait.
Perfect timing, rain. Perfect timing.
I sighed before going back inside our house.
It’s been a long day.
I’m tired. So damn tired.
Is this it?
Is this the end?
Will I really give up on him?
Should I give up on him?
Can I really give up on him?
