Eight years old Ricky Boy is picking flowers in the big-big garden of his grandparents' Mansion. The sun is up and clouds are somehow covering its rays. A peaceful and hopeful mood to start the day with soft light, bird singing, and fresh air. His family is here with him and they're having a picnic.

Ricky Boy is wearing his favorite fuzzy hat, shirt and pants and he is barefoot walking on the grass. He is organizing the kinds of flowers he picked using his tiny hands and fingers. He finish it using a soft stem and tied it like a ribbon, it is quite messy but as a kid he can't stop smiling when he made 3 bouquet of flowers.

And there's three girls in his family. They are sitting on a blanket on laying on the grass, eating some snacks and watching his little sister running.

He rushes to the first woman he loves, "For you Mom..." Ricky is chuckling, "Hihi~" and the missing tooth is showing on his happy face.

Nagagalak ang kaniyang ina, "Thank you, my love." at inamoy pa nito ang bulaklak.

He hugs her, "You're welcome, Mom." and proceeds to the second girl, "And this is for my little sister, Reina." he kisses her on the cheek.

"Hihihi~ thanks!" umiikot ikot ang batang babae habang yakap yakap ang mga bulaklak.

Ricky Boy's heart is so-so happy that they like and appreciate his flowers.

Niyakap siya ng ina, "My baby is such a sweet boy. How lucky your wife will be in the future." and then kisses him on the cheek.

"Wife?" he asks and look at his mother.

"Hm-mhm." she bops his nose, "Someday you'll have a wife and build a family like us."

"Family?"

Tumango ito, "Yes. I hope you will be a great husband and father when that day comes."

At his age, his mom and dad, especially his mom is slowly teaching him how to be a man. They feed him the idea of being masculine in the future generation. To be a man, to be a provider. Nakikita iyon ni Ricky sa ama pero dahil bata pa siya ay hindi pa niya gaanong naiintindihan.

"Hmm...okay, Mom." sagot niya at yumakap din sa ina, "Sure..."

Maybe, he will.

"Baby, our son is too young for that." tumabi sa kanila and tatay niya, "How about a great boyfriend to his girlfriend first? Hehe..." kiniliti siya nito kaya napangisngis siya.

How blissful it is to be a child.

"Ricky!" pagtawag sa kaniya ng lola, "Come here! Join us." nasa kabilang pwesto kasi sila at tila ba sino-solo ang isa't isa.

Agad naman tumakbo si Ricky patungo sa kaniyang grandparents, "Lolly! Ded! Hi! hihi~" pagbati niya at inabot ang pangatlong bouquet na kaniyang ginawa para sa lola.

"Oh lovely...Thank you, Sweetie." humalik ito sa pisngi niya.

Naupo siya sa pagitan ng lolo at lola niya, "My boy is getting taller. How about I teach you basketball tomorrow?" mahina siya nitong dinunggol kaya naman nagsukot siya ng ilong.

"He is more interested in ballet." bulong ni Marsha, "Right, sweetie?"

Agad naman napatayo si Ricky Boy sa sobrang excited, "Yes, yes Lolly." nagtwirl pa ito sa harap ng dalawa.

Ded is shock, "Ay! No, no! Basketball!" pinaupo siya nito ulit kaya ngumuso siya.

Niyakap naman siya agad ng lola, "Come here my sweetie." she whispers, "Your Ded doesn't know you wear Dominika's dress yesterday hehe..." natatawa na lang ito sa mga nangyayari.
