Miranda's pov
We're driving to the reception right behind Rachel and as soon as she gets out, she runs to our truck. "I have a feeling I know what this is about." Jason says, smiling. "Me too." I reply, holding his hand, which rests on the middle console. She taps my window. I roll it down. "What's up girl?" I ask. "Something tells me I'm not the only one on cloud nine." She says, pointing at me. I glance at Jason with a smile. "Well, of course I'm happy, my best friend just got married." I say, teasingly. She rolls her eyes. "Oh cut the crap, Jason, you proposed didn't ya?" "Yep." "I knew it!" She gasps, excitedly. I laugh. "Yep, after your honeymoon, you're putting together my wedding." "Oh fuck that. I'm putting the wedding together then we're both going on a double honeymoon!" She says. Jason's eyes go wide. "Uh, Rach, we've already got the honeymoon planned out. We're going back home to see my parents since they can't make it." "Oh." Then she looks like she's thinking. "Then I know just what to do!" She gasps, running away. We exchange looks. "Oh man, what did we just get ourselves into?" He mumbles, covering his eyes with his hand. "Oh Rachel knows what she's doing." I say, kissing him. My phone buzzes.I'll look at it later. We should probably be getting inside. I smooth my dress and get out, looking at my phone.
R: what's Jason's mom's phone number?
M: why?
R: it's a surprise.
I give her the number, then put my phone in my purse.
*after reception*
We're back home finally. I'm exhausted but can't sleep. Jason's watching football. "Hey what do you think Rachel is planning?" He asks. "I don't know. It was weird. She asked for your mom's phone number." He glances over. "Really? Why?" "I don't know. She said it was a surprise." "Oh well let's just go with the flow. I'm sure it'll all be fine." He says, turning the TV off.
*the next day*
I slept a good seven hours but I'm still exhausted. I turn over to try and get more sleep but now that I'm awake I just can't fall back to sleep. I go downstairs where Jason's cooking breakfast. I smile and hug him. "Good mornin' baby girl." He says, turning around and kissing my forehead. Someone knocks at the door. "Who is it?" I call, turning around. Jason grabs my waist. I smile. "Rachel." She calls. "Oh come on in." She does and says, "your parents are making it to the wedding." My eyes go wide and I'm betting so does his. "What are you talking about?" He asks. "I talked to your mom and we're gonna have it in Macon at your parents house." She exclaims. "Wow, yeah that's a great idea! Thanks!" He says. "Any time." She says, leaving. "At first I was a little worried about her planning the wedding. Now I know there's no reason to be." "Oh yeah she's great. I bet if she was born, she'd have set up her own parents wedding." I joke. He laughs and we eat breakfast. After breakfast, he grabs his hat and puts his boots on. I think it's time to tell him. "Hey baby girl, go get your boots on we're goin' muddin'." He says. "Hold on Jay, before we do I have something I want you to see."

She goes up to the bedroom. I wonder what it is. She tells me to close my eyes so I do. Then I feel her put something in my hand. "Can I open my eyes?" "Of course silly." I open my eyes and in my hand is a positive pregnancy test! My eyes nearly bug out of my head. Oh man! I drop it. "Y-You're pregnant?" I gasp. She nods. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm just glad you told me before muddin' since you aren't supposed to do that while pregnant." "Well that's why I told you now." I hug her. "I can't believe it. I totally didn't expect this when I woke up today. How long have you known?" "Since last night." "We should make an appointment. And tell Rachel." "Maybe later. I'm going to rest. Still beat from last night. You can go mudding though if you want." "You sure?" She nods. I shrug and kiss her then head to Luke's place, where he, Brantley, Brad, Justin, and Eric are probably already at. I pull up. "Hey man, where's the bride to be?" Luke asks, walking over. I smile. "Can ya keep a secret?" He nods. "She's gonna have a baby." I whisper. "Oh dude congrats! That's awesome. Ya know you're a lucky man." "One of the luckiest." I reply, highfiving him. "So let's get this bachelor party started!" He shouts running over. I didn't know this was a bachelor party. I don't really care about those. I just wanna hang out with my buddies. I walk over and Brad pats my back. "Congratulations man, I knew she was the one." He says. I try not to laugh after what he said outside buffalo wild wings that day. "Ya know love starts with a toothbrush." He says, confusing me. "What do you mean?" "A fine razor and a spice of after shave before ya leave for that first date." He sings his song toothbrush. I roll my eyes. "You do know that's not how we met?" "Of course not. She was the roadie that you fell in love with at first sight." He's right. As soon as my eyes landed on her all I could think about was how gorgeous and perfect she was. "How did you get so lucky?" Eric gapes. I smile. "Opportunity boys. When opportunity comes a knockin', you don't ask who it is, ya rip the damn door off the hinges." I joke smirking. "Are we four wheelin' today or what?" Brad nods. "Let's get on it."

He opens the door slap covered in mud and I can't help but laugh. "Yeah I need to practice a little more, got my four wheeler stuck in a bog." He mumbles wiping mud off his face. "You look adorable. Come give me a kiss." "Even covered in mud?" He asks. I laugh. "Especially covered in mud redneck!" I gasp. He smiles and kisses me, sitting down. "I'm your type of girl. Mud doesn't scare me. Now what does is the color scheme Rachel is planning for the wedding." "What is it?" I shrug. He laughs and kisses me again.

Jason's pov
We're lying on the sofa in the dark and just about the time she falls asleep so does my right arm and I want so bad to move it because it's tingling and it's numb but she looks so much like an angel that I don't wanna wake her up. I live for little moments when she steals my heart again and doesn't even know it. I live for little moments like that. I kiss her sleeping forehead and fall asleep next to her.
