Jason's pov

I watch from the doorway, my hands in my pockets as she feeds Alex a bottle. I'm never gonna take anything for granted again. I almost lost her for real and I don't think I could bear watching her die. She smiles and looks up. I smile back. "Come here." So I do. I sit beside her, my arm around her. She leans against me. "I love you." "I love you too hun." Jenny walks through the door. Now the whole family's here. I love my family. Alex has fallen asleep so she lays her in his crib. She doesn't come back for a while so I see what she's doing with Jenny hot on my tail. She's in the kitchen singing a Lee Brice song. A newer one. I can't quite put my finger on it. "You always sounded like truck tires on a gravel road, laughin' at the world blastin' my radio. Cannonball splashin' in the water." She turns around seeing me in the doorway. "What were you singing?" "That don't sound like you by Lee Brice. One of my new favorites." She takes her headphones out. I smile and lace my fingers with hers and kiss her. "Don't forget Jenny." She whispers as we make out. Yeah, she's standing right behind us. I smirk and turn around. "Jenny, I think it's time you got the birds and the bees talk." I say. Miranda gasps in shock behind me and grabs my shoulder. "No way! Jason, not now!" "Oh come on hun, she's gotta learn someday. I'd rather her be edjumucated." She rolls her eyes. "I want a couple more years of her being my baby." She whimpers. I sigh. "Ok, sweetheart I won't tell her now but she's gotta learn someday." She kisses me, her arms around my neck. Mine on her waist, dangerously close to her crotch. "Not today." She whispers. I move my hands closer and she glares at me. "I'm callin' Tully to babysit." She whispers, holding my hand back. I smirk. "Hey Jenny, you're gonna go to Uncle Tully's house for a few hours." She says. I move my hand up more and she gasps in surprise, making me laugh. "Stop it!" "You know you can't stop me baby." "Ok, have a little restraint." Ugh. I don't want to. It's been almost a month since I've been able to do anything. Finally Tully gets here and takes Jenny for us. "Ok, no more restraint baby." She smiles and kisses me. "And you don't have to." She whispers. I pick her up.

*after*

I take a long drawn out deep breath. "Oh you quit teasin' me Jay!" I laugh. "I'm not baby." "Oh yes you are." She grabs my shoulders and kisses me hard, my arms barely holding me up. I lay back down beside her. "There are not enough words in the English language to tell you how much I love you." I whisper, kissing her soft lips. "My thoughts exactly." She says. A few hours later, we call Tully back and tell him to bring Jenny home. "That was fun babe." I whisper seductively in her ear as she stands in front of the stove. She turns around, leaning against it. She's about to say something when Jenny gets home. I hold her in place. "What were you about to say?" "Nothing silly." She says, kissing me. Jenny goes to bed and we stay in the kitchen making out for another two hours before things start to get heated. But she holds my hands down. "Not with Jenny in the house. I already told you that." I'm tempted to tell her I've already given her the birds and the bees talk. It was when she was in the coma. But I know she'll be mad so I keep my mouth shut and my hands in appropriate places...... For now.
