Miranda's pov
I'm washing dishes, thinking about the last couple days and mumbling to myself furiously. I hear footsteps. I smile then whoever it is sticks a knife into my back. "J-Jason?" I choke out. "Not even close." Dean growls. "How?" I whimper. Instead of answering, he kisses my neck. I shudder. "You move, you die." He growls.
Jason's pov
I think we should try to convince Kurt to forgive Rachel and Sierra to forgive Tully. I don't want them to keep hating each other. I walk into the kitchen to talk to Miranda and my jaw drops in shock! What is with people cheating on each other!? "Baby?! What?!" "Jason!! It's not what you think!" "Not what I-" "He's got a knife! Please help!!" Oh now I get it. But how do I help her?! He's got a knife! "Don't move cowboy. I know just where to stab her to where she'll bleed out in seconds." He says, turning around, still holding onto her. She's obviously crying her eyes out. "Oh yeah well I know just where to shoot to kill you instantly." I gripe, pointing my pistol at him. She whimpers when he pushes the knife harder. Shit. I can't. He'll kill her if I do. I drop the pistol. "What do you want?" "That hot little red head." He says. "Who? Rachel?" He nods. "No! Don't!" She cries, but he covers her mouth. "I better have Rachel by noon tomorrow or you'll never see her again." He says, walking toward the back door. "No! Let her go!" I yell. "Don't do it Jason! Don't give her up!" She shouts. What do I do?!
Miranda's pov
He forces me out the back door as Jason stares helplessly after me. I pull Dean's hand down. "Take care of Jenny and Alex." I cry, sobbing. He runs out the back door, tears in his eyes. "I will save you baby, don't worry." He says. I sigh. "Your redneck boyfriend is not the smartest." He gripes, opening his truck door. "He's not my boyfriend, he's my husband." I snap, narrowing my eyes and stomping his foot. He lets go of me in surprise and I rush to get away. Jason runs to me and hugs me tight. "Quick thinkin' baby." He says, holding me and standing in front of me. "No wait, Jason I got this one." I say, putting a hand on his shoulder. "What are you talking about?" He gapes, turning around. "Just trust me on this." He reluctantly lets go of me.
Jason's pov
What's she doing? "I changed my mind." She says, her hands on her hips. What the?! "You can have Rachel." I know she's lying now. "Uh babe, can you fill me in on your plan here?" "No. Just go inside, you'll be safe." "What?! I'm not going anywhere." I cry. She turns around. "I know what I'm doing! Just listen to me for once!" She yells. She hugs me. "I'm getting rid of this guy once and for all. Pass me your pistol." She whispers. "I can't. I dropped it back in the kitchen remember?" She curses under her breath. "Now what?" "Who's she rooming with now?" Dean asks. She turns back around. "She's rooming with her husband and you can't have her." She growls, spinning around to face him. He just smiles. "You're the dumbest and most stubborn girl I've ever come into contact with." He says. She laughs. "I get that from Jason." She says, pointing at me. "B-Baby, get behind me." He leans against his truck but I see his hand moving closer. He's got a trick up his sleeve. "For once, I'm not gonna let you put yourself in danger." I grumble, grabbing her shoulders. "Jason, what are you doing?" She gasps. "Saving your ass." I say, dragging her back to the house. "I'll take care of him baby. Stay here so I know you're safe." "But Jason wait!" She cries. I turn back around. "I love you." She says, kissing me. "I love you too darlin'." She grabs my pistol. "Oh and Jay, kick his ass." "My pleasure baby girl." I close the back door and turn back but he's gone. What the? "Where did you go?" I whisper, turning around. He's standing behind me. I jump back surprised and he shoves me. I dig in my heels to try and slow myself down and I lose my balance. He runs at me and stabs the ground by my head since I rolled out of the way. The knife is stuck and I kick him and he rolls over onto his back. He shakily stands up. I point my pistol at him. We both lock eyes. "You're dead." I gripe. "Not so fast." He says, running forward and kicking the gun from my hand. I punch him in the face. The gun skids away. We both run for it. He trips me and gets the pistol. I back up, hitting the house. "You don't have to do this man!" I plead. He cocks my pistol. "I ain't gonna beg." I mutter angrily. Just then the back door opens, catching me by surprise. Just enough distraction. I grab the pistol and shoot him in the head. Breathing heavily, I drop the gun on the ground. "Nice save baby." But when I look at the door, it's not Miranda. It's Rachel. "Where's Miranda?" "Talking to Tully in the living room. She called me so we came over." "So you and Tully are back together?" She sighs and nods. "I'm sorry for Kurt." She says. I shrug and go inside. "Got rid of him?" She asks. I nod. "Did you hear about Tully and Rachel?" I ask. She crosses her arms and nods. "You can break the news to him." She says, pointing to Rachel. They leave and I laugh and shake my head. "What's so funny?" "Once again, on the brik of destruction and we snap back without a scratch." I say, walking over to her. She smirks. "What about that?" She asks, pointing to my forehead. "What?" I reach my hand up but she holds it down. "I'm just messin' with you." She says, kissing me. I grab her around the waist. "Everyday you just get to me more and more." I say, deepening the kiss, her arms resting around my neck. I lay her down on the couch.
