Jason's pov

I pick up Jenny and am dreading going home. I really don't want to tell her everything. I get home and she's gone! Where'd she go? I try calling her but she doesn't answer. Then I see why. She left her phone.

Miranda's pov

I go over to Rachel's. I know I'll get something out of her. Kurt answers the door. He waves me in. Where's Rachel?" "She went shopping. What's up?" "I want to know something." "What do you want to know?" "Everything."

Jason's pov

I call Sierra then Rachel but she's not with either of them. Did she leave again? I wish she didn't forget her phone. I call Kurt. "Hey man, do you know where Miranda is? I'm afraid she left again." "She's over here!" "Why?" "She's waiting for Rachel to get home so they can hang out." I breathe a relieved sigh. She didn't leave. I sit on the couch to wait for her when she comes in. "For a second there I thought you left again." I gasp, jumping up. "No, I went to talk to Rachel but she wasn't home. Why didn't you just call me?" "I did. You forgot your phone." I toss it to her. "Oh, no wonder." She sets it back down. "I told you I'm not leaving again. You don't have to worry." "I'm sorry baby, I've just been worried since I lost ya once I don't wanna lose you again. Especially after that argument earlier. I'll tell you what you want to know." We both sit on the couch. "You don't have to tell me anything Jason. I can tell it was hard. I don't want you going through that again." I'm glad she doesn't want me to tell her anymore because I was so dreading it. I turned the TV on and we watched a few episodes of the walking dead. Not the best thing to fall asleep to but it happened.

*the next day*

My friends and I have organized a softball/baseball team a few years ago. My buddy Bruce got me a jersey that says my nickname Peach and my lucky number nine. What worries me is she's got a jersey that says Mrs. Aldean but with the fact that we got divorced. But when Bruce hands it to her she loves it which definitely makes me feel better. We get into our jerseys and I'm up to bat. "Make me proud baby." She says, making me smile. I kiss her then walk out to bat.

*a few hours later*

We won the game. I knew we would. We had Chipper, a regular baseball player and fellow buck commander hunter. Someone calls my name and I turn around to my girl tackling me to the ground in a hug. I hit my butt on home plate. "What was that for, baby?" "Because I love you and I can." She says, kissing me hard. My arm wrapping around her. Then I realize everyone is watching us. I stand up, dusting myself off. "That was embarassing." I mumble, seeing everybody stare at us. She grips my hand, pulling me off the field. "Where are we going, baby?" "Home." My eyes go wide. "Are we-" She stops me with a kiss. "We are." She whispers. Damn I totally didn't see this coming.

*later*

"I'm so glad we're back to the way we were." "Me too." I hug her tightly. I never want to have to worry about losing her again.
