Jason's pov
As I'm waiting for the show to start me and Miranda are listening to the radio and Brad's song Celebrity comes on. I love this song. "I can throw a major fit when my latte isn't just how I like it. When they say I've gone insane, I'll blame it on the fame and the pressures that go with.... Bein' a celebrity." She suddenly turns the radio down, catching me by surprise. "Did you hear that?" She gasps. "Hear what babe?" She runs out the door. What the heck!? I follow her.
Miranda's pov
I find Rachel asleep and having a nightmare. I shake her awake and she clings to me, crying hysterically. "It's okay Rach. You're okay. Whatever it was, it wasn't real." I comfort her, rubbing her back. Just then Jason appears in the doorway. "Just a nightmare, she's okay. Could you get Kurt though?" He nods and disappears out the door. A few minutes later, he's back with Kurt who takes over. "How did you know?" Jason gasps, surprised. I smile and shrug. "Sixth sense, I guess."
Kurt's pov
I hold her in my lap as she finishes crying. "What was the nightmare about?" I ask. "I-I don't wanna talk ab-bout it." She mumbles, resting against my chest. "Okay, you don't have to tell me." I rub her back.
Jason's pov
Me and the band go onstage. I wave to the fans and start singing she's country. I glance sidestage and Miranda is waving her hands frantically. What's wrong?! I walk over. "What's up?" "Look in the front row." She says, pointing. I look and my eyes go wide. A guy has a ring box in his hand. I think he plans on proposing to his girlfriend! Well, this'll be interesting. I smile and walk back on stage. I ask him with looks and he nods. Oh this is gonna be fun. I reach a hand out to the girl and pull her onstage as the guy gets onstage. He looks nervous. I hand him the mic. "She'll never forget this." I tell him, patting his shoulder. "Thanks." He says. "No problem." Seeing this gives me the confidence to do what I wanna do. He proposes to his girl and she of course says yes. I take a deep breath and call Miranda on the stage. She's confused. "Give it up for the newlyweds." I say. She stands beside me. "What's this about?" She asks, waving to the crowd. I hold her hands. "Baby, I've made some mistakes. Some really big ones. And I have done things that almost made me lose you. I don't wanna be that guy anymore." I get down on one knee. "Baby girl, will you remarry me?" "Oh my gosh Jason!" She gasps , her hands covering her mouth. "Yes!" I stand up, hugging her tight. "I will never hurt you again." I whisper. "I know." She says, crying on my shoulder. I get the names of the recently engaged couple. "Give it up for Eric and Hannah!" The crowd cheers. She throws her arms around my neck. "I'm so glad to be your wife again." She whispers, kissing me. Then the other couple kisses and we call it a night. Eric catches up to me after the show. "Thanks so much for that. It made it just perfect." He says, falling into step beside me. I set my guitar in it's case. "Thank my wife. She pointed you guys out to me. She's got a good eye for things." "What do you mean by that?" I sigh. "She's a very forgiving person. That's all I'm gonna say." We part ways and I head onto the bus. She hugs me instantly. "Hey sweetheart." "Oh Jason, that was amazing!" She cries. "Seeing that other couple just made it more perfect." I say, holding her hands. "I know we have had our ups and downs Jason, but there's no one in this world that would make me happier." She says. I wipe the tears from her eyes. "Me too baby." I say, kissing her hard. We sit on the couch, making out. My mind goes back to that first night. How different life would be. If I didn't have her here with me. I wouldn't have the daughter I love so much. I wouldn't have the best woman in the world. My best friends wouldn't be as happy. My life would be totally different and not a good different. "I'm so glad I wake up every day with you by my side." I whisper, picking her up.
*after*
"I wouldn't wanna wake up next to anyone else." She says, kissing me. My phone rings. I sit up, my arm still around my girl and grab my phone. "Yo, what's up Tully?" "Are we going out and celebrating your reengagement?" I try not to laugh. "We had our own little celebration but I guess we can go out with you guys too." She elbows me and I laugh again. "What time and where?" He asks, trying not to laugh himself. "Eh, doesn't matter to me. You pick and text me the details." I hang up before he can reply. "You love tellin' people don't ya baby." She says, seductively. I smile and wrap my arms tighter around her. "You know I do, darlin'." I say, kissing her. She pushes me against the headboard as we make out, getting ready for round two.
