"Mum, who was that?" I ask as I enter the kitchen.

"It was just some boy."

"Like who?" I ask as I get the ice cream out of the freezer.

"Brooklyn," she says and I look up from the tub of ice cream and to her.

"What'd he want?" I ask her.

He hasn't called or texted me since the Manchester United football game and that was two weeks ago.

I've talked to the rest of his family since then, but not him, and as well as Andreas. Andreas and I have gone on one other date besides that night. He took me ice skating and, not trying to brag or anything but, I am seriously better at ice skating then he is and I did teach him a little and he got a little better.

"He asked if you were doing anything tonight."

"What'd you tell him?" I ask my mum.

"I told him you aren't doing anything tonight and he asked if it was okay if he took you somewhere tonight."

"And what'd you say?"

"That you said you'd love to," she says and takes a bite from here hamburger.

I nod my head, not wanting to start a fight with her, and eat some more of my ice cream.

Three hours later, I'm putting on a pair of black leggings and a long, cute, sweater. I apply some perfume before grabbing my phone and going down the stairs and to the door, where someone was knocking on it.

I open it to be face to face with Brooklyn.

"Bye, mum." I call to her and walk out of the house and to Brooklyn's car.

He opens the door for me, and I thank him, and gets in the car himself. W both buckle up and are soon on our way to... the ice skating rink with Romeo and Harper in the back of the car.

We get there and I get out and grab Harper's hand as we walk towards the rink with the boys following closely behind us.

"Maddie," Harper whispers.

"Yeah?"

"Do you like, um, Andy?"

"Andreas? Yeah, I think." I tell her.

"What about Brooky?" She asks me.

"He has a girlfriend, Harp." I remind her.

"You used to like him," she says and I shake my head.

"I still like him."

"Why don't you tell him then?"

"It's not that easy," I tell her.

"He doesn't stop talking about you, you know." She tells me.

"What do you mean?" I ask he.

"He talks about you every single day, even when Sofia's with him, sometimes."

"What does he say about me?"

"He says how you're a great friend and he even said last night that-" she gets cutoff by Brooklyn.

"Are you two ready?" He asks us, politely.

I nod my head and we follow them into a room so we can get our skates.

Ten minutes of getting my skates on and getting them laced later, Harper and I are out on the rink.

"So, Maddie, how was your date with Andreas?" Brooklyn asks, as he skates to my side, with something laced in his voice. Is that jealously?

"Great," I say and watch his body go a little tense from the news.

"Great."

"What?" I ask him.

"Oh, nothing. Nothing at all." He says.

"Are you jealous, Brooky?" I call out to him, getting the attention of him and some other people/teenagers.

"No!" He says a little too quickly.

Oh look at that, a jealous Brooklyn for a change.
