Brooklyn's Bad Dream

"What do you want to eat?" I shrug my shoulders at the question.

"What do you have?" I ask him and he looks through the fridge.

"Spaghetti," he replies and I nod my head.

He heats the food up and hands it over to me. As I eat the food, my dad asks me questions.

"How do you feel about the hiatus?" He asks me.

"They deserve it, you know?" I reply and more questions come.

I soon finish my plate of food and hand it to him and then go down to the basement to watch some Netflix. Once I sit down on the couch, my phone rings.

I answer the FaceTime call and Romeo's face pops up on the screen.

"Romeo, what's up?" I smile at him.

"Um, Mads, can you come to the house?" He asks me.

"Why? What's wrong?" I ask him.

"Brooklyn's crying, and won't come out of his room, and is asking for you."

Once he tells me this, I'm darting up the stairs and crash into my dad.

"Where're you going?"

"Can you drive me to an address that I give you?" I ask him. "I really need to go there."

He nods his head after a minute and we get into the car. I text Romeo, after I hung up on him about two minutes ago, and tell him I'm on my way to their house.

"Brooks?" I knock on his bedroom door.

A few seconds later the door opens and he pulls me into him room and into his chest as the door slams behind me.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"I had a bad dream," he whispers.

"Want to tell me what it was about?"

He whispers something, but I don't catch it.

"Sorry, I didn't catch what you said."

"My dream was about losing you," he whispers into my ear.

"You'll never lose me," I whisper back.

"You know I love you right?" He whispers as he looks straight into my eyes.

My heart races at the words but something tells me that he doesn't love me like I do him. Don't listen to it.

"I love you, too, and you're still not going to lose me, Brooks." I tell him.

"Stay with me?" He asks and I nod my head.

"For forever."
