Can you believe 95 parts/chapters? Five more left. Sequel or not?
"Hopefully I beat you this time." I say as Brooklyn hands me a controller.

"Don't go easy on me like you did the first time." I tell him and he nods with a smile on his face.

The match starts and I sit on the edge of the seat as a player of mine steals the football from Brooklyn's team and I pass it before making a goal. I silently cheer in my head before Brooklyn gets the ball and scores a goal.

"Good game." I shake Brooklyn's hand with a smile on my face and one on his.

"Yeah, it was a close match." He says and I roll my eyes.

"I finally won, though." I say and he nods.

After a while, the both of us get bored of playing FIFA, so we go outside and play a match of football, and he wins.

"You did good, you're an amazing football player and you will forever be." He says and I smile at him.

"Thank you, Beckham, you do have a heart of gold." I tell him and he grins.

"Thank you, Barker, so do you." It's my turn to smile.

It takes everything in me to not say the three little words that I'm about to say; you're too cute, and maybe I love you.

"Okay, I'm pretty sure we're going to need some sugar now." Brooklyn says while he reads the recipe.

"Here." I hand him the sugar.

"No, this is salt." He says and I take the container of salt away and give him another container, hoping it's sugar.

"And this is flour." I sigh and hand him another container.

"Sugar," he smiles and so do it, "let's get this started."

I mix the batter together and take a taste after I finish. I pour it into a pan and Brooklyn puts it in the oven. I take a spoon and get some fudge batter on it and put it in my mouth. I savor the taste before Brooklyn gets some, too. I watch him close his eyes and then pull the spoon out. I quickly look away from him and over to the food baking in the oven.

I look back at Brooklyn to have him already looking at me. He bends down and his hand moves forward and towards me.

"You have some batter in your hair," he says and whispers, "got it."

I try to look somewhere other than him but my eyes keep going back to him. His eyes gaze into my eyes and I into his. He starts to bend down but I move away.

I will not be like Georgia in Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging, waiting for Robbie to sort out his feelings and breakup with Lindsay.

Like Robbie, he does need to sort out his feelings and decide what he wants to do.

The timer goes off after almost an hour and I get the food out. The both of us eat as much as we can before leaving out some brownies for his family.

"I have to get back home, before Liv gets there." I tell Brooklyn and he offers to drive me home, but I tell him I'll walk home.
