It was almost midnight when Liv and I got back to the house. We quietly open and close the door and tiptoe to the living room. We sit down on the chair in front of the window and watch the waves.
"I've always loved watching the waves." Liv say and I agree with her.
After a while, Liv leaves me and goes to her room but I stay and watch everything that happens when I'm asleep. The sunrise starts after some time before I fall asleep.
As I'm walking to the bathroom, I see the boy from yesterday. We make eye contact as he walks up to me.
"Do you want to go in before I do?" I ask him.
"No, it's okay, I can hold it." He says and I thank him before going in.
There are tons of other bathrooms, but I guess he just loves going to the same one as me. I get finished and leave the bathroom.
"Thanks." I smile at him before walking away.
I meet my three cousins by the food area and we get, well, food. My phone buzzes and I look at the notifications.
"Friends or more than friends?" I ask out loud.
Liv comes over and looks over my shoulder at the tweet and picture from... a fan(?) of either Brooklyn or Jack. I'll never know which one.
"Ex girlfriend, Madison Barker, was recently seen kissing Jack Johnson at the airport and they've been hanging out and going shopping. She'd been making out with him just a week after her split with Brooklyn. Talk about moving on so fast. S to the l to the ut." Liv reads, which gets the attention of Talaria and Suki.
"How the heck am I a slut? I'd have to sleep around to be a slut."
"Society is stupid and horrible." Suki says.
"Yep." Liv says.
"Well, even though no one seems to believe it, Jack and I are just friends."
Five hours pass like it's nothing and we're done swimming and laying down on the sand. I take my phone out and, do what I do best, take a picture for Instagram.
