Kristal's Friends

Seto's POV

I walked around our little clearing as the guys were talking.

"Did you hear that voice," Lachlan said in a bit of a daze "it sounded so dreamy~"

"Ugh, wish I had a good singing voice," I heard Vik mumble. Everyone else didn't seem to hear him but me. "But what about Kristal's friends, remember," Rob reminded us "she said that her friend was close to her. I wonder how close." Preston looked a bit dizzy, but shook it off.

"I hope close enough," Vik mumbled again. "What was that Vik," Rob asked Vik. "Nothing," Vik replied quickly. "Are you jealous about~"

"Ow, Jason! Get off my tail!"

"Sorry Jerome."

"Shush you two!"

One of the voices sounded familiar as we turned our heads to some shrubbery where we heard the voices.

"Krystal," I called out. Krystal then popped out of the shrubs and gave a nervous wave. Then another boy with glowing yellow eyes popped out of the bushes.

"Wait Krystal, you know them," the boy asked Krystal. "Yeah, that's Seto, Lachlan, Vik, Rob, and Preston," Krystal told the boy, then turned to us "guys this is Skybrine or just Sky~" She quickly grabbed something out of the bushes and pulled out 3 more boys. "~that's Jason, Jerome, and Mitch or the legendary Hunger Game champion, at least used to be."

"Nice to meet you," I smiled. "We're here," the boy with wither features, Jason, started "because Krystal told us that Heather has attacked you guys."

"Heather," Vik questioned them "you know that evil science nerd girl?!" Jason backed up a little back into the shrubs as Krystal grabbed his arm and pulled him out again.

"Don't accuse him of anything," Skybrine said loudly. "H-Heather is evil, I know that," Jason said in a scared tone "she turned me into a hybrid along with his dad and killed my family. It's just, knowing her, I have to check on you guys to make sure she didn't do anything bad to you guys. For Krystal's sake. Now, did she inject anything into you guys?"

"I think I saw her inject something into Vik's left arm," Preston told him with a weak tone "and me too. I feel really weak."

Jason ran over to Preston along with Skybrine. Skybrine summoned a small device and handed it over to Jason, who scanned Preston's right leg. "She injected a weird substance that contains of a weakening substance called Cuasarian and Fiareation," Jason explained "do you have any powers?"

"I'm a fire user," Preston said weakly. "She weakened you fire ability then," Jason explained "you can still use your fire ability, but it's a bit weaker. I'm experienced Cuasarian before, just rest and you'll be okay."

Rob was right next to Preston as Preston layed his head on Rob's lap. Rob softly stroked Preston's hair as Preston closed his eyes. Jason then walked over to Vik as Vik held out his arm. Jason scanned his arm as I noticed Krystal morph into her cat form staring into the shadow of the forest. I pulled down my hood, revealing my ears, and walked next to her.

"Anything on your mind," I asked her. "Can you sense that," she whispered. I turned to where she was looking and sensed what she was probably looking at.

"Follow me," she told me as she ran into the forest. I quickly glanced back at the others before running after her.
