The New Friends

????'s POV

I was sitting on the edge with my companions, Tigris and Ian. More like I was at one edge and they were on the other edge. They are just there for me as someone to back me up and nothing more. I used to be less lonely when my old pal was still here, I risked my life for him to escape and was thrown back in here. I sure do miss that only friend I could talk to.

Then a silence hushed over the mess hall as I looked up to see my sister leading the new comers and an old pal to get their food. I heard a coupe whispers, even Ian and Tigris didn't say much.

"Hey, mind your own business," my sister exclaimed as the mess hall went back to it's normal loud conversations. I watched her disappear out of the mess hall and to where she usually is, her room. The new comers and Jason walked over to the table and sat down, of course, farther away from me.

I just listened to their conversations. Then I noticed the new girl scooting over to me. "Hey," she said, calmly. I just smirked and gave her my fruit. "Here, have my fruit," I told her, keeping my same tone as always. "Really? Thanks," she said, keeping her tone as well. She then took her bread and gave it to me. "Have my bread then," she told me "I insist."

I smiled. "You know, you're the first I've talked to for a while," I told her. "Not much people you'd talk  to, huh," she asked me looking at all the hybrids, then back at me. "You could say that," I shrugged, still keeping my tone. "So, what hybrid are you," she asked me.

"Oh, just a simple sorcerer hybrid," I replied "You know, my old friends never understood me nor actually respected me. Now they kind of regret that they ever crossed, and they never saw life again." The girl game me an unsure look as I giggled. "Just kidding," I said same tone, but slightly sweeter. The girl gave an unsure chuckle as we went back to eating our food.

Then I heard the mess hall hush as I saw Julian and Solar walking through the doors. Everyone looked at them, shrinking if they got close to them. They kept walking til they got to our table and looked at me. The others looked away from Julian and Solar as I just looked at them.

"Come on, time for an experiment," Solar said grabbing me by the arm. "But nobody's supposed to be experimented on during eating times," I told them "Does Lunetta even approve of this?" Julian just tugged on me and was leaning in for a kiss. I was truly terrified, after all the things I've been through with him.

Then a sleeping arrow whizzed between us, making us jump away from each other then the arrow ricocheted and hit Julian on the side of his head as Julian fell asleep. I looked over at the girl to see that she had a bow that pixelated away. Solar grabbed the girl by the neck and shoved her into a wall. Then he was about to punch her when the 2 new boys grabbed Solar's arm. Solar then threw the 2 into the table and the two blacked out. Then I shoved Solar away from the girl and Jason shoved him into a wall. Then Solar throw 2 magic orbs at me and Jason. Then a bright light came from Kristal as Solar was thrown against a table.

Then I slowly blacked out.
