"Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall..."

~~~
"Brothers! Stand together!"
His words reverberated all throughout the oncoming battle, giving strength on his comrades. Yes, his army was strong, and he was the strongest of them all. He knew that, that was why he also knew that they won't be able to defeat him. His power was at its peak, and at this time, no one was greater to him.
No one.
The battle cry was his name, exalting him through their bloodlust. Thousands of his kind was behind him. Most of them were in the higher orders than the ones they were facing. He was also the most skilled, that was why every blade that pointed his way was successfully blocked. Every jab, every parry, every attempt to behead him was futile. He was vicious. His killing intent was at its finest.
He would never bow down to the Son of Man.
Never!
Lightning flashed. Thunders boomed all over the sky but the battle was still raging.
In a flash of light a man was standing in front of him.
"Enough!" shouted the man.
"Never! I am the wall that will prevent the Son from coming! I will never bow down to a human!"
On they clashed. Swords of heavenly fire glowed like white flames. He parried and was able to push the man aside.
"You are only an Archangel. I am Seraphim," he said as he was about to deliver his final blow.
"I am His. His will is my will! He is the Supreme! He will bless me power to defeat you!" shouted the archangel.
The heavenly sword of the archangel glowed even brighter. It cleanly passed through the Seraphim's blade, straight to his chest, and the heavenly fire ran amok from it, engulfing him in flames, burning him, his wings... his essence.
Shocked, the Seraphim looked at the Archangel's eyes and whispered, "M-Michael... B-brother..."
"Not anymore, Lucifer."
Archangel Michael pulled the sword from Lucifer's body, still burning with heavenly fire. His wings were no more, and down he fell...
Down...
Down...
Down...
And great was his fall.
As great as his pride.
~~~

...All the king's horses,
And all the king's men,
Couldn't put Humpty Dumpty
Together again."

"So Uncle, that was the reason of his fall? His Pride?" asked one of the seven-year-olds he was facing.

"Yes," he answered, scratching the itch on the left side of his chest.

"Humpty Dumpty, too?"

"Yes, because they were all proud and mocked their Kings."

Some fall it was, he thought. And damn that blade, my scar still hurts!
