*~Gerard's P.O.V.~*
I didn't mean to start drinking. I had promised Sky I wouldn't do this.
I repeated it silently to myself over and over again. "Gerard, don't do this. You promised Sky," I'd remind myself, but soon enough, I had forgotten all about the promise I had made, and our impending date night, as I downed many, many shots.
I tried my best to get away before things got out of hand. "Bert, I really need to go. I promised my girlfriend I'd be out in a few minutes so we could have dinner. She's already gonna be pissed, because I promised her I wouldn't drink anything."
"Oh lighten up, Gerard!" Bert exclaimed. "She's your girlfriend, and you see her everyday. You were my best friend, and I haven't seen you in over two years! I know you're whipped, but I think you can manage to stay a little longer."
So I downed another shot. And that one shot turned into many, many more.
"Bert, I really need to go! Skylar's all alone out there!" I complained. I was already a bit tipsy, but my mind still continuously drifted off to my girlfriend, who I had left outside by herself. What if somebody tries to hurt her? She was a teenage girl all alone in the streets of Jersey. There was no telling what could happen to her.
Bert made a sound to signify that I was whipped, and I rolled my eyes. "She's eighteen, Bert! She's not as old as us, and she didn't grow up here, so she doesn't know this place like we do! She's not safe all alone out there!" I protested.
"Now you're just being clingy. She's gonna be fine, Gerard! She probably needs some space! You sound like a father, not a boyfriend."
I huffed and rubbed my forehead as Bert ordered us another round of shots.
Before I knew it, an hour passed, and I was wasted. I had forgotten all about the date night, and the fact Skylar was all alone out there. All I cared about was the sweet relief of having alcohol after being sober for so long.
Soon, Bert was flirting with some blonde chick, but she seemed way more interested in me than she was in him.
"Who's your friend? He's a hottie," the lady asked Bert, then she finished her sentence with an annoyingly high-pitched, drunken giggle. She wrapped an arm around me, and leaned in, purposefully leaving her breasts touching my side.
I chuckled awkwardly. "I have a girlfriend," I muttered, but my speech was so slurred, I wasn't positive she could understand me.
"She's not around, is she? What she doesn't know won't kill her," the woman muttered seductively, then she forcefully sat up and pushed her lips against mine.
I froze for a few moments, which left me unable to push her off. Damn, this girl wasn't a bad kisser. Plus, it's just a kiss. It's no big deal. It's not like Sky will ever find out.
Unfortunately, when I finally pulled away from this girl, I met eyes with none other than Skylar.
I could practically see how heartbroken Sky was, just by looking into her eyes. It was as if you could just see her heart physically breaking. She looked so hurt and betrayed, it broke my heart too. I did this to her. I hurt her again. Tears began to brim over her eyelids, and she stormed away from me.
I ran after her, and we talked outside, but she was pissed, and she wasn't going to listen, so I gave up. She walked away from me, and my heart broke. I knew I had fucked it up this time.

Hayran KurguI used to have a description for this but it keeps deleting itself. Read it if you want. It's a sequel. It's probably badly written. I'm bad at updating ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
