I watched as EJ, Kate and Yasmin walked up to the front. EJ looked from Kate to Crystal, slightly pale.

Both of them nodded in encouragement and EJ looked out towards the vast crowed. “Umm…

I just want to say thanks for making me your new head…I promise I won’t be like Aro. Umm, I guess we have to choose our guard”

Kate nodded “the first choice will be our mates” she said.

At that, Garret, Jane and Seth came up and stood behind their mates.

EJ nodded “um, if we pick you, we only want you to join us if you want to….”

“Get on with it” shouted a vampire

EJ shifted “well ah, Benjamin…”

I looked out towards the crowed and saw him raise his head. He let out a smile and stood up. “I would be honored”

EJ smiled then looked at Kate and Yasmin.

After 10 minutes, the guard was chosen; Jane, Seth, Garrett, Benjamin, Zafrina, Senna, and Kachiri, Maggie, Quill and Embery.

Crystal then walked up to the new Volturi and their guard and smiled at them. “you have chosen well EJ….times are changing, we have learnt to live with the werewolf’s and we can live together in peace….the only thing remains is wear are you going to stay?”

EJ looked at me and our family “here….near the house….I…I can’t leave my family”

“That’s alright EJ” smiled Maggie

“Our base will be in Seattle, we will find a suitable place in the woods and build a headquarters.” announced Kate.

EJ and Yasmin both nodded

“Then our meeting has ended…the council of elders will help the new Volturi for as long as they need.” said Crystal.

“Keep to our laws” said EJ looking at the crowd “I promise to be fair in my judgment but if you break our laws then we will push you”

The vampires in the crowd nodded

“Good, you may leave oh and if you see Aro or Alec, kill them”
