New Cullen

“come and meet little Henry Cullen”

Rose and Emmett walked into the house, Rose holding a bundle of blankets. For a week, we had been doing nothing but getting things ready for the newest little Cullen. Rose, my mother, Esme, Alice and I had been shopping for new baby clothes and new furniture. I was happy enough to donate some of Sammy and Kyle’s old baby blankets and Rose took them with gratitude. Jake was hoping that with Rose finally getting what she wanted, she would be ‘nicer’. I told him not to hold his breath.

I peered into the bundle in her arms and smiled softly, making cooing noises. He was adorable. He had small tuffs of black hair and little dimples when he smiled. “he’s adorable Rose” I whispered.

The rest of the family began to gather around and take turns looking at the new baby. Esme and my mother took even longer than before, cooing and taking turns to hold the baby. Jasper and my farther wouldn’t go near him at all. They still thought that having a human child in the family was bad.

That was the only thing that did worry me. Even though EJ was the new head of the Volturi, he still had to enforce the laws.

A second later, the door opened and Jake came in, followed by Sammy and Kyle. The others had gone back to La Push for a holiday while Seth and EJ returned to the volturi.

Jason and Crystal had gone once again to England to talk with the vampire elders about the problem with the vampire army.
