“Sammy, be careful!”

Jake ran forwards and scooped up the adventurous toddler before he could wonder off. His younger twin Kyle, sat in my arms watching.

Sammy giggled and hung onto Jakes neck as he made his way back to me.

Both twins wear now six months old although they looked around two. Sammy had started to speak but Kyle could not yet. Carlisle thinks it's because he's so small.

“Sammy, you mustn't run off like that, its dangerous” I told him.

“sorry mommy”

I smiled softly at him and he giggled again as his skin began to sparkle in the sunlight. Sammy had more vampire in him than wolf, Kyle was the opposite.

Soon we reached the Cullen house. We put the twins down and they toddled up the steps and into the house. I smiled watching them go before I kissed Jakes cheek and we followed our babies hand in hand. In the living room, Seth, Leah, Yasmin, Emmett, Rose, Alice and my mother wear perching on the sofas. When the twins came in, they all looked up and smiled. Sammy went straight over to Leah who jumped up and scooped him up.

Kyle got taken up by Alice who grinned at him. I sat down with my mother “wear is everyone?” I asked. “your farther, Jasper and Esme are out hunting” she said.

“and the rest of the pack will be hear in a minuet” said Seth getting up.

Jake nodded and the frowned when a sippy cup of milk floated past his head and into Kyles arms. Like myself, Kyle had an ability. He could control objects with his mind.

Kyle drank while still In Alice's arms. Sammy was on Leah's lap playing with her fingers.

A howl sounded outside and Jake got up “ill see you later” said Jake kissing my cheek.

Seth and Leah stood as well and began to head out “i want to go to!” said Sammy.

“when your older” smiled Leah affectionately.

“but I am older!” he protested.

Jake sighed “come on then”

Sammy ran up to him and phased into a fluffy dark brown wolf.

Kyle frowned from Alice's lap and got down toddling to the wolfs. “i cant take you both” said Jake.

“Kyle can go next time” said Seth.

I frowned over at Jake. It wasn't fair.

Without looking back, Jake led the other three out and into the forest for a pack meeting.

Kyle watched them go from the door way before coming over to me and sitting down on my lap. I stroked his cheek gently. I knew I was going to have some strong words with Jake when he came back. At that moment the rest of the family came in, their eyes golden from their hunt. Kyle stood up and went over to my farther who smiled “all right” he said.

He kissed my mothers and my cheek and sat down at the grand piano with Kyle on his lap. Kyle was the only one in family who had any kind of musical talent like my farther. Together their hands tapped on the keys and they played my mothers lullaby, a tune both of them loved to play and the rest of us loved to listen. Esme smiled and went into the kitchen. I got up and followed her as she got some baking ingredients out. “need help?” I asked.

“of course” she smiled.

I helped her bake her famous chocolate chip cookies while I listened to my farther and son play. I couldn't help but be worried about kyle. He wasn't like EJ or Sammy.

“what's wrong Nessie?” asked Esme.

I looked at her. “it's Kyle.”

“don't worry about him Ness, he may not be able to talk yet but he's strong, after all he's your son”

“i know that but....not even Jake treats him the same”

“yes well, you need to talk to him about that, I think Rose has just about had it”

I bit my lip and put the cookies in the oven “we need more flour” said Esme frowning.

“ill go and get some” I said.

She smiled “okay”

I walked back into the front room “kyle baby, do you want to come to the shops with me?” I asked.

He looked up from the piano and nodded. Sliding off my fathers lap, he walked over to me and took my hand. “hear” said Alice putting on Kyles coat for him

“thanks Alice”

Takeing Kyle’s hand I walked out with him.
