I wonder how I ended up with this life I have. I don't regret anything. In fact, I am more grateful.

Yes, it saddens me whenever I remember how my family abandoned me. But, remembering that without those trials I wouldn't have Sheen, I just realized that it is much better.

Masaya na ako sa buhay ko. Hinding hindi ko pinagsisihan ang kahit isa man sa mga nangyari. Kasi kahit isang bagay lang doon ang mabago paniguradong hindi ibibigay ni Lord sa akin si Sheen.

"Mom, what time will you be here?" Sheen asked.

"I don't know yet, honey. But, I'll make sure to come back before morning."

"Are you coming with dad?"

"I don't know, honey. He is busy with his business. And it might be a hassle if I told him I would be there."

"Okay. I'll just wait for you then."

"No, Sheen. I might come back late. You better sleep early. Tatabi na lang ako sa 'yo."

Inabot ko sa kanya ang bag niya at sinukbit ito sa likuran niya.

"I already told tito Gerald to fetch you, okay? Don't go anywhere without him."

"Yes, mom!"

After that so-emotional farewell, haha! I bid my goodbye. But yeah! It really saddens me whenever I need to leave my son.

Since we were in Ireland it was the hardest thing for me to do. I wanted to complain everyday because I needed to go to work, but then my son always reminded me that he would stay at home and he would always be safe and there was nothing for me to worry. And that's how grateful and blessed I am to have Sheen.

It was past 10:00 AM when I reached Las Piñas. I am here to visit one of my friends from college days. And I hope to find her very soon.

"Hello?" I answered my phone when I heard it was ringing. A call from Mr. Lim.

"Where are you?" he asked. "Glow told me that you would be here in Manila to meet a friend?"

Naku, Glow! Daldalera talaga!

"Yes. In fact, nandito na ako."

Grabe, Xareen! Hindi puwedeng magpakipot? Um-oo agad ako. Ano ba naman 'yung kaunting arte muna.

"Where? Exact location?" he demanded.

At bakit naman niya tinatanong? Maliligaw ba ako?

"Why?" I asked.

"Uhm," he paused. "Because I wanted to see you?" he answered unsure.

"Is that so? I bet you're busy right now."

Bakit ba ako english nang english? Kasama ko ba si Sheen? Tsk!

"I can find time for you, Xareen." He is calling me again with my first name. Normal naman 'yon, pero talagang nagtataasan ang balahibo ko. "So, ano ang exact place mo. I'll be there."

"Do you really need to go here? I mean, I can go by myself."

"Hay! I really wanted to see you. Please, just tell---"

"SM Southmall. I 'll wait." Then I hanged up.

Grabe! Talagang hindi ako nagpakipot. Ano ba 'yon! Deretso sabi rin naman ako ng lugar ko eh. Ito naman kasing si Glow sinabi pa kung nasaan ako. Hindi na lang ba nanahimik.
