Imagine: You're at the masquerade ball with Caroline. There you meet a charming man named Elijah. Being the mischievous person you are, you don't tell him your name until midnight when the mask come off.

Warning: Slight fluff towards the end.

I stepped out of my house in my magnificent gall gown that fit my body perfectly, showing off my curves. My high heels clicked on the pavement as I walked to Caroline's car. The mask I had on was simple yet elegant. I had to say, I felt amazing.

Tonight was the masquerade ball at the Lockwood Mansion. The second one since the gang tried to kill Katherine but failed. I entered my best friends car. "Whoa, Y/N you look like a goddess" Care spoke in awe. "Thanks Care, you look beautiful too" I giggled. Care smiled and drove off, heading towards the ball.

When we got there, we walked in like we owned the place. All eyes were on us. "That's right bitches, the queens have entered" I whispered only loud enough so Caroline could hear. She laughed, nodding in agreement. My eyes locked on a certain guy. He was dressed in a pure black suit with a crimson mask over his face.

Even though I couldn't see his face, he had a strong jawline and dark eyes which intrigued me. He had a good body aswell, broad shoulders, tall and muscular. I was defiantly attracted to the mysterious stranger. I smirked at him, breaking eye contact so me and Care could go to the champagne table.

Me and Care got our glasses of champagne and watched the couples dance to classical music. "So what's the plan for tonight?" I asked, sipping the bubbly alcohol. "Just loosen up, find a guy, have some fun"
"So you're going to find Niklaus and loosen up?" I smirk. Care blushed but nodded. "Yay! Finally! Go get him. He's probably already looking for you too babe" I giggled. She hugged me and walked off, leaving me alone.

I finished my champagne and left the room. I strolled up the stairs to the balcony, where I overlooked the lake behind the mansion. I bent down, resting my arms in the ledge. The crisp air refreshed me. "Enjoying the ball my lady?" A deep voice came from behind me. I stood up straight, turning to face the husky voice.

It belonged to the mysterious stranger I locked eyes with earlier. "Very much so" I replied politely. "Then why are you in your own?" He questioned. "Just wanted to get some air"
He chuckled. "May I ask your name?"
"Not unless I get yours first" I smirk. His eyes glinted with playfulness. "Elijah. Elijah Mikaelson" he grabbed my hand, placing a soft kiss on the back of it. "You look exquisite by the way"

I blushed but soon regained my composure. "Well Elijah Mikaelson" I said seductively, stepping closer to him, putting my hand on his chest. "You shall get my name soon. Until then, I will remain a stranger" I whispered, walking away with my hips swaying slightly. Elijah made a quiet growl which made me smirk.

I walked back to Caroline. She was with Klaus. "I see you found him Caroline" I chuckled.
"I did. Who've you been with?" She wiggled her eyebrows. "I have no idea what you're talking about" Care folded her arms across her chest. I knew she meant business. "Fine. I was with a charming man called Elijah"

Klaus laughed. "Something you'd like to share?" I ask, knowing her knew something.
"Elijah love, is my brother" My eyes went wide. "Well, that's interesting" I smile. "Did you tell him your name?" Care pressed me for information. "Nope. I like to leave them guessing" Care rolled her eyes, dragging Klaus out to dance.

I went over to the champagne table, collecting another glass of alcohol. "I would really like to know your name my dear" Elijah whooshed to my side. "Well sucks to be you 'Lijah" I giggle.
"Y'know I could always compel it out of you" "Now where would be the fun in that?" I sip my champagne. "You do have a valid point" he chuckled. The music changed and Sam Smith- I've Told You Now, blasted through the speakers.

"Care to dance?" Elijah held out his big hand. I smirked, placing my small hand in his. He led me to the dance floor. When we got there, he put one hand on my hip and the other in my hand. I placed my free hand on his firm chest. We began dancing along with the beat, eyes never leaving each other.

"You're a good dancer Mr. Mikaelson"
"As are you dear" he grinned. We continued dancing for a while, enjoying the way our bodies elegantly moved together. Elijah suddenly spun my around as the song ended which made me giggle. His eyes, behind his mask, lit up as he brought me back towards him. My hands slipped from his hands to the sides of his neck, his resting in my waist. Our faces inches apart.

"You have the most magnificent eyes I have ever seen" Elijah spoke softly. I blushed. "And the most amazing blush" he added with a small chuckle. "Please tell me your name"
"I will do, when everyone's masks come off at midnight. Meet me in the balcony, I'll tell you then" I caressed his face. He bit his lip but nodded. I smirked, leaving him in a daze.

The time was 11:45pm. I had 15 minutes until I was to revel my mask and name to Elijah. The thought made me giddy yet nervous. What if he doesn't think I'm pretty or hates my name? I'd hate to disappoint him. Elijah had manage to squeeze himself into my cold dead heart.

For the rest of the long 15 minutes, I spoke with some of the guests and danced with Klaus. When midnight chimed in the clock, everyone began taking off their masks. I made my way up to the balcony like I promised to Elijah. He was already there when I arrived. Knowing him, he probably waited here for the whole 15 minutes.

"Elijah" I greeted with a smile.
"Hello my dear" he politely replied. "I believe we had a deal" I nodded, taking off my mask slowly. Once it was off, I let it drop to the floor cause I like to be dramatic. My eyes flickered to Elijah's face. His eyes and mouth were wide open.

"You...are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes upon"
"Thank you Elijah. Can I see your face?"
He nodded rapidly, quickly taking off his mask. Holy hell he was handsome! "You're incredibly handsome" I giggle. He grinned. We stared at each other for a few moments.

Suddenly, our lips crashed together. My hands tangled themselves in his perfect hair and his tightly held onto my hips. He moved back so he was leaning in the balcony with me pushed against him. The grunts and growls that fell out of his mouth were the sexiest thing your ears could've heard.

I unattached my lips from his, kissing down his sharp jawline and to his neck. He groaned as I found his sweet spot. I could feel his arousal poking at my right thigh. "Elijah?" I said into his neck. "Y-yes" he stuttered, biting his lip to suppress another moan. "My names Y/N" I smirked, moving away from his body. He gave a toothy grin as I told him. I gave him one more steamy kiss before vamp speeding away, leaving him breathless and wanting.
