Enzo

"Enzo, Enzo, Enzo, Enzo."

I loved bugging my best friend. We were best friends with benefits really. It's quite complicated. We are sat in my apartment, trying to find a certain spell for Bonnie so she could locate the cure. Enzo was nose deep in a grimoire and I was sat next to him extremely bored.

We'd been searching for over an hour now and we'd found a big pile of steamy nothing. Enzo jaw tensed, he was clearly annoyed which made me giggle and bug him more. "Lorenzoooo." I dragged out his name. He still didn't move, just kept to his book.

"Fine! I'll go drink all the bourbon then." I scoffed, playfully and got up.

Suddenly, he grabbed my wrist, pulling me down onto his lap so I was straddling him. "Finally." I giggle.

"What's up gorgeous?" He chuckled, resting his big hands on the top of my thighs.

"I was bored." I shrug, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"We have to find the spell though love." He told me.

"I know but do you really want the cure?" I sigh dramatically.

"Not particularly." He smirked.

"No neither do I, my human life was boring anyway." I giggle. "Didn't have a handsome British man to entertain me."

"My apologise love. But I have an idea of how to cure your boredom." He hinted.

"Oh, and what might that be?" I played along.

He lent forward, bring his face closer to mine. I closed my eyes, expecting a kiss but instead he threw me off his lap, grabbing another book. I landed on the sofa next to him, pouting.

"I hate you." I huff with a small laugh.

"No you don't." He chuckled.

"You're so lucky I don't." I stuck my tongue out at him.

I got up and headed over to the bourbon, pouring myself one. Enzo looked at me, silently asking for one. "Not after that move you pulled. No way am I getting you one." I smirked. He scowled adorably.

"Why are you so adorable?" I muttered to myself but Enzo heard. I poured him a glass and gave it to him.

"Thanks love." He grinned.

"Whatever." I sigh playfully. My phone rang, the caller ID said that it was Bonnie.

"Hey BonBon!" I answered cheerfully when I pressed answer.

"H-hey Y/N, c-can I come o-over?" She stuttered with a few sniffs.

"Why? What's wrong? Are you hurt?" I panicked.

Bonnie was my girl bestie. If anyone hurt her, let's just say their life span got shortened. "I j-just really need to g-get away from S-Shane." She sobbed.

Shane was her boyfriend. He was also a werewolf and a real prick. Me and Enzo both despised him. "Where are you? I'm coming right now! I swear to god if he hurt you Imma rip his throat out" I growled. Enzo smirked behind me.

"I'm outside his house." She informed me.

"Be there in 5." I hung up.

"Arggh why are men such jerks?" I huff.

"Excuse me gorgeous?" Enzo acted offended.

"You're defiantly a jerk. But you're a good jerk." I giggled, kissing his cheek and leaving to find Bonnie. I pulled up outside Shane's house and found her sitting in the pavement crying.

I used my vamp speed and ran up to her. "Hey it's me." I cooed.

She relaxed and got up and entered my car. The car ride to mine was silent apart from Bonnies sobs. I tried to talk to her but she wouldn't tell me.

When we arrived back at my place, I gently sat her down in the couch. Enzo greeted her with a warm smile. "Bonnie what happened babe?" I said softly.

I came home and Shane was in bed with another girl." She cried.

I gasped but then scowled. "That douchebag! How dare he!" I scoff. "You need anything? Food? Drink? Hugs? I don't give those out often so." I giggle.

She smiled and nodded. I wrapped my arms around her protectively and we hugged. She cried into my shoulder. I shh'ed she comfortingly. Enzo was smiling at me so I smiled back.

"I don't know what you saw in him Bon. He smelt like wet dog." I joke. Bonnie chuckled and wiped the tears from her eyes. Enzo smirked.

"I loved him though." Her lip wobbled.

"Well, love sucks." I shrug, thinking of mine and Enzo's awkward relationship. I loved him but I doubt he loved me.

"So...can I pay him a little visit?" I ask evilly.

"No Y/N, you're not killing him." Bonnie smiled.

"I can't believe you'd think that of me! I'm just going to go over there and have a friendly chat and make him not breath anymore." I explain innocently.

Enzo chuckled. "Love, that's what killing is."

"Fine, I'll make him not so alive?" I said unsure.

"Same thing gorgeous."

I didn't realise but Bonnie had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I giggled and used my vamp strength to pick he up bridal style and place her on my bed. I returned back to Enzo.

"You're still going to kill him aren't you?" He sighed.

"Yup!"

"Gorgeous, he's a werewolf. Y'know he bites you and you're dead." He informed.

"Well I better not let him bite me then." I chuckle.

"Please don't go love." He begged.

"Why not? He hurt my best friend. I can't let him get away with that." I protested.

"I know but." He stopped.

"But what?" I huff. He didn't reply. "Exactly. Listen Enzo, I know you're worried about me and it's really sweet that you are but I'll be ten minutes at the most." I promised him.

He sighed in defeat. I started walking out the door when I heard him mutter something under his breath. "What was that?" I ask.

"N-nothing." He stuttered, with a small blush.

"Tell me Enzo." I giggle at his nervousness.

"I said, iloveyou." He said the last part extremely fast, even my vamp hearing couldn't pick up on it.

I came closer to him and cupped his cheek. "Calm down. I can't understand you when you speak as fast as your vamp speed." I joke.

He chuckled. "I...love you gorgeous." He finally said at normal pace.

I gasped. "See I knew you didn't love me back. It's fine I'm just gonna go and drown my sorrows in more bour-"

I cut him off by crashing my lips onto his. He was taken back at first but soon melted into the kiss. He rested his hands on my hips and I did the same but on his neck. After a few minutes we pulled apart.

"I love you too you big goof." I giggled. His eyes widened. "I always have."

"Be mine?" He chocked out in shock. 

"Of course." I said in a 'duh' tone.

He chuckled and crashed his lips onto mine. We got a little heated but I didn't mind. This was the best night of my entire life. I was still going to kill the wolf though. I was just had a very good distraction.
