[43] Promposal

REQUESTED

The bell rang and I grabbed my back pack to head towards lunch. My friend, Hayley, rushed up towards me with a huge smile on her face.

"Why are you smiling so much?" I ask her as we walk out of the hallway.

"Just follow me," She ordered, but I didn't. "Hope just come on."

I finally gave in and followed her out in the court yard. People were all whispering as they saw me; I still had no idea what was going on. Hayley and walked more until we came to a red carpet. Different color petals were scattered across the carpet, it lead up to a curtain. I quickly turned towards Hayley who put a crown on my head.

"Just walk," She told me to and I did.

I had an idea of what was going on: Shawn was asking me to prom. What else would this be for? As the idea settled in and All Of Me by John Legend started playing, my eyes brimmed with tears. Shawn's friends held up signs as I walked by. In order, they read: Hope, here are 5 reasons (out of millions) of why I love you – 1. You make me laugh – 2. You're incredibly beautiful – 3. You make me feel alive – 4. I can tell you anything – 5. You're the only girl I can see marrying one day. I then got to the last sign that read: Now, I have one question for you...

The curtain opened and it revealed Shawn. His sign said, Be my princess to prom? He held out flowers to me, and I took them. I quite literally jumped into his arms and whispered 'yes' a million times. People everywhere were gathered in the court yard with their phones out as they cheered for us.

"I love you so much," I said as I pulled away from the hug. "Just – oh my god wow."

Shawn smiled widely, "I love you more babe."

I HOPE YOU LIKED THIS!! it's short, but cute asf. i based this off an instagram video i saw and it was adorable. requests may take a little longer because of school, but i'll try and get them up as soon as possible :)
