Monster Hunters: Beat Grave and Erina Hell's Adventures.

Chapter 2: Erina Hell

Beat went to the place where in theory Erina Hell was. It was in a chinese street, which was a long line full of shops and in the bottom of the street there was 12 Yakuza, all of them wearing tuxedos, guarding a chinese bar. They all used pistols similars to the one that Beat used. Like Vinnie said. But Beat had a priority first, make sure that Erina was fine and make sure that she survived. Beat was used to think as a scared animal when it came to track down scared monsters. But this girl was calm. Like a vampire when he's about to fight. So Beat had to think where he could hide in this street. Quickly he knew where, behind a trash bin. The Yakuza wouldn't go near the trash bin with the risk of getting their clothes dirty. He found a trash bin behind a building and checked around it and found Erina Hell.
She has long black, black eyes and as Vinnie said she was sure pretty for being a young girl. She was wearing a highschool uniform and had a wound in her arm. She was scared when she saw Beat.
-Beat: You must be my new companion. I'm Beat Graves.
-Erina: Mr. Graves!? Why are you here!?
-Beat: I told you. I'm your new companion. And now when they start shooting me, run away. I'll take them all.
-Erina: But you are going to die!
-Beat: Me!? Die!? Oh, merciful pleasure! I cannot die! That's my power! At my age, I have “died" 1000 times. And I'm here. That's my curse! Unable to feel the ultimate step in any life unless mine: Death.
-Erina: Mr... Okay! I'll follow your plan!

Beat starts walking while he takes out his gun and prepares to shoot. He goes towards the Yakuza and they look Beat like if he was a weird man.
-Yakuza 1: Hey! Stop right there or you are a dead man!
-Beat: Really!? No monster has killed me, now a simple Yakuza shall kill me? (Laughs) DON'T JOKE! START SHOOTING! TRY TO KILL ME! GRAB YOUR GUNS! SHOOT!
-Yakuza 2: Let's kill him!
All the Yakuzas start shooting Beat and he recieves all the bullets with a smile, while Erina starts escaping but later she decides to try to save her friend first and sneaks into the bar while the Yakuza are focused with Beat. Beat easily makes all the bullets that are inside his body get out and regenerates and aims slowly to the heads of the Yakuza while smiling and shoots them while they are scared of seeing a man who recieved a lot of bullets walk like nothing happened.
-Beat: For situations like this one, I'm grateful to be hated by God and Devil. This world would be a terrible boring world if weren't because of half baked humans like you all. But, when you step too far someone has to clean your mess. This time it's me. Lowly humans like you won't kill me. Not even the Grim Reaper can kill me! My curse is a blessing for those who can't defend themselves.
Beat grabs all the ammunition clip and enter in the building and finds the rest of the Yakuza that were there unless uncle Tao and simply laughed of them and recharged while the Yakuza tried to kill him and then Beat killed them all without looking at their eyes. Then he saw two stairs, one went down, to an old cellar, the other went up to a V.I.P room and a office. Beat thought that Tao would be in the cellar hidden, so he went down. But what he saw was far more disturbing.

Beat went through the cellar and found some barrels, he expected them full of wine or whisky but when he tasted the drink that was inside one of those barrels, he was afraid. For once in his life, he did two mistakes in the same day. Believing that Tao would try to hide in the cellar and expecting wine. The barrels were full of blood. Totally full of disgusting blood. Beat was angry, because he remembered well the taste of human blood. And he was sure that all that blood was human. Vinnie was right, those dancers weren't only dancers. They were the usual dinner of vampires. In theory, the vampires had forbidden to drink human blood. Goat, cow, horse, pork or any other animal blood was okay but human was totally forbidden. Beat looked for the dancers and found most of them in cells, all of them tied and with a bad face. Someone extracted blood from them not long ago.
-Beat: Tao... You bastard. You went that far... If weren't because of this I wouldn't care about what you have done and shoot you in the left hand. But now, I cannot afford to not care anymore, even me can't afford that now.

Beat freed all of the dancers that were in the cells and went to the office where he found an old japanese man, that had green eyes and white hair and he was in a wheelchair holding a shotgun towards a tall girl, with blue eyes, long blonde hair and with a very revealing dress. She was Elisa Nero. Beat hides himself behind a table that was near of him.
-Tao: How you warned Beat!? HOW!?
-Elisa: I didn't! Please don't kill me!
Then Erina, who sneaked before in the building went through some secrets passages and grabbed a gun that a Yakuza left at the V.I.P room, got to the room and pointed her gun to Tao.
-Erina: Drop the shotgun, please. I only want to talk.
-Elisa: Erina! Why are you here!?
-Tao: So it was you... YOU DAMNED...!
Then a strong noise was heard. It was a gunshot, made by Beat that went straight to the head of Tao.
-Beat: Shut up, your piece of garbage... I hope that the Devil decides to throw you to the depths of hell. If there is hell enough big for your insolence.
Erina and Elisa were surprised but also grateful. Beat saved their lifes. But Beat wasn't nice. He quickly grabbed the neck of Erina and pushed her to a wall.
-Beat: ERINA HELL! YOU WERE AN IDIOT OR MERELY YOU HAD A DEATH WISH!?
-Erina: And let you go on your own!? I didn't know what you would do to my friend!
-Beat: I don't care about you went inside the building on your own! You had guts, even I admit it! But you must never warn your enemy of your presence unless you are unable to die or you must act as a bait in order to kill it!
-Erina: Mr Graves...
-Beat: You are my new companion. I'm only doing my job as a companion.
Beat leaves, and after half an hour to calm down their nerves Erina and Elisa go out of the building. Beat dissapeared out of sight. Sylvia arrived with Elisa parents.
-Sylvia: Beat sent me a message when he left. He told me that you went to save your friend. He said that you were nice for a newbie.
-Erina: And that's good?
-Sylvia: Extremely, Beat isn't the typical guy as you surely noticed. He never says good work or nothing like that. But, he said that you were good and had guts. No one was able to make him praise someone so much. But it's only the first time. Wanna join?
-Erina: Of course! To tell the truth, Beat is an interesting man. He seemed to not care, but then he cared about people. I want to know more of him.
-Sylvia: Heh. Well, first other things. I'll go to check the cellar, if Beat is right we have a serious trouble. Erina stay with me please.
-Erina: Okay.

Erina and Sylvia leave and only Elisa and her parents are there.
-Elisa mother: Daughter, if we knew... I'm so sorry.
-Elisa father: We forgot about your opinion. Sorry.
-Elisa: You know what? Yea, you were wrong but life is a path full of mistakes and failures. We all learn of them, or die with them.
The parents of Elisa hug Elisa.
