Epilogue:An End May Be A Start.

Beat and Erina went to where Sylvia was and she was surrounded by all the members of White Hope ready to go helping the couple of hunters that captured Francis. It was raining pretty hard outside and it would be hard to carry Francis without a prepared vehicle for Bell and Francis so it would take a while to deliver the two terrorists.
-Sylvia: You two have done a great job. You will go down to history at this rate. The first couple of monster hunters that captured the crazy president that tried to kill all the monsters.
-Erina: But also all the truth shall be seen. The granddaughter of the creator of the monsterkind captured the creator who tried to eliminate his own creation.
-Beat: And?
-Erina: What will the world say? I will be called a hero? Or just a bitch who got close to her boss to frame Francis? Remember how we obtained the proof.
-Sylvia: Silly girl.
-Erina: Huh?
-Beat: That's no problem for us. I remind you of one thing: We are allowed to do whatever is needed to stop the culprit. Even using illegal sources of information. As long as it we have ascertain the veracity of the information. And their actions speak for themselves and also we made sure of having the veracity tested well.
-Sylvia: So in short version: Francis won't pull anything like: They are framing me.
Francis starts laughing and breaks free from the handcuffs he had on and starts running to the exit. Beat tried to catch him but when he noticed that Francis would escape no matter how fast he was, directly shot to Francis head.

Erina couldn't understand what happened. How Francis had freed himself and tried to escape only to be killed by the man who she called boss sometimes.
-Beat: That will teach him to not escape!
-Sylvia: You know that this is going to be a pain in the ass.
-Beat: Better than losing Francis. That would be a pain in our backs for a long time. And he would attack Erina when he had the chance and the power to do it.
Erina could not help but sigh. She was already used to Beat overprotection but she saw how her grandfather died and she did not feel a thing. After all, she never saw him until she became a known hunter and he started to try to steer her life in the wrong direction.
-Erina: He died how he lived. Escaping from what he had done.
-Beat: At least he did something good.
-Erina: What?
-Beat: He allowed you to exist. That's what could redeem him a bit.
-Erina: But now who will lead this country?
-Beat: Huh!?
-Sylvia: (looks angry at Beat) Do you have a plan, no?
-Beat: N… NO?
-Sylvia: Dammit, Beat! We are so in deep trouble! We are so dead!
-Vinnie: Do not fret. Guess who has prepared for this.
-Beat: No.
-Vinnie: Yes.
-Beat: She cannot have done something like that.
-Erina: Huh?
-Vinnie: Well, for now she is a candidate only.
-Beat: Dammit Lucy! At least warn me!
-Vinnie: The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Erina receives a call and she answers it.

Erina's mother was calling her to tell her an important choice.
-Erina: Yes, mom? I am working.
-Erina's mom: I know! Francis is alive?
-Erina: Beat killed him. Sorry for the loss.
-Erina's mother: Oh. That bastard deserved it. By the way, guess who is trying to become president?
-Erina: No! It can't be happening now!
-Erina's mother: Yes! I am trying to be president!
-Erina: So… Or Beat adopted teenager girl, Lucy, wins or you win? I am going to history in the worst way possible…
-Erina's mother: Well… Sorry!
-Erina: Well, what I shall do? Good luck!
Erina sighed and hung up the phone.

After several weeks…
Beat had presented all the proofs of Francis, Bell and possibly Delaware crimes, the police tried to find Delaware but they found him dead. His artificial eyes were hacked and he walked in front of a train. And the only thing the police could find in perfect condition was his eyes. Beat found proofs of who did it but destroyed them because the culprit was Lucy. Seems that Lucy didn't want to let him go without punishment and hacked his eyes to stop him from escaping.
After that small scandal, she stopped trying to be president and only remained 299 candidates who tried to win the position in the most dirty political fight that there could be and no one could have guessed who would win unless Beat. He had bet on Erina's mother and she won the election.
Bell was found guilty of attempt of genocide, several assassinations, treason and around 800 more crimes. Literally he will spend all of his life in prison and there is no doubt that he will be unable to get out of the prison.
Erina and Beat became an official couple, which led to huge sums of money being given to Sylvia thanks to the bets and she used to prepare a huge party for the new couple of monster hunters and few days later, she started dating Vinnie.
Erina decided to learn how to drive, and gave Beat several thousands of scares and a pair of traumas with boats and cars flying over boats. Erina proved to be a more aggressive driver than Beat.

In White Hope, Erina was running to work because she overslept after finishing the reports about several cases and found Beat waiting in the door and smiling.
-Beat: Hey, honey.
-Erina: Keep it for later! I will be late!
-Beat: You won't. Vinnie called me, Sylvia will be late. For a couple of hours.
-Erina: They…
-Beat: Let’s not think about that.
-Erina: They sure go fast.
-Beat: Well, everyone has their pace.
-Erina: Do you have any new case for me?
-Beat: One involving the Yakuza. Like in the start of our partnership.
-Erina: Yeah. But now I am used to your overprotective behavior.
-Beat: Get ready and we start working on this case.
-Erina: Okay. But this time, I drive.
-Beat: Try to not get yourself dead.
-Erina: I improved!
-Beat: And in kisses?
-Erina: We don't kiss so frequently.
Beat steals a kiss from Erina's lips.
-Beat: You said?
-Erina: I will get used to your surprise kisses someday.
-Beat: At least I got a reward for letting you drive.
-Erina: Well, if that was all I needed… Maybe I could give you a couple more.
Beat started laughing and they both went to solve the case they had in their hands.

All ends well, the life goes on and there is a new president. All seems the same but it is not!
I hope that you liked the story with the character development I worked on.

About the next story, I have not the title ready but I have it planned a bit.
It won't be a heroic story like usual or a story of a good guy.
