Monster Hunters: Beat Grave and Erina Hell's Adventures.

Chapter 6: Chase the Werewolf

Beat and Erina went to White Hope's HQ to go to check the clues that Erina found, they went to the third floor and entered in a laboratory. There was a tall man with golden hair, black eyes and with several scars in his face, who was wearing a laboratory coat, a black shirt, some blue jeans and black shoes. He had metal arms, metal hand and metal legs. He was doing experiments on a little slime.
-Beat: Alphonse Von Strioff! We need your help!
Alphonse turns his back and burns the slime.
-Alphonse: Herrr Beat! You finally came! Vinnie told me! In 2 or 3 hours I'll have the results! Also Vinnie is still searching for the one with the car! But no luck for now! If he was German, he'll have it all done!
-Beat: (sighs) And here I expected to find Dollie. But well, I'll have to trust in Alphonse.
-Alphonse: You are a fool if you don't trust our style of doing things! We, the German, are the best!
-Beat: Well, I'll leave you do the job.
-Erina: Sorry sir, I didn't say my name. I'm...
-Alphonse: I know. Erina Hell. The talk in all White Hope. The new companion of Beat. A pleasure to meet you. I'm Alphonse von Strioff.
-Erina: A pleasure to meet you! See you later!

Beat leave the cigar and the ring and goes with Erina to see Vinnie. He was working hard to find the owner of the car but he was trying hard.
-Beat: Hey Vinnie! How's going the search?
-Vinnie: As bad as any anniversary of Alphonse! That car is far too used. Almost all the city has one. Still, there are more corpses. I sent some specialists to grab one of the corpses and all what they can find that could help us but you could go to the other place. It's a procontrol pill factory. Luckily today was a free day for everyone in the factory so only the owner died.
-Beat: Hmmm... “The werewolf knew that? It's only a thinking, but if he knows that then he has the help and has a target. All starts pointing that someone is using the werewolf to destroy the procontrol pill. But why? No human was against it..."
-Erina: Vinnie, could you check if both have a relationship or knew each other?
-Vinnie: Oh! Maybe there's a connection!
-Beat: Yeah. And I sense that I know what is that connection. Procontrol pill. Someone is using that werewolf to destroy the procontrol pill.
-Vinnie: The big fishes will get angry. And if they get angry... Blood will run until all enemy is dry.
-Beat: All werewolfves would die, no matter from which clan was the culprit.
-Erina: What!? That's going too far!
-Beat: The culprit has gone too far. Now there's no turning back.
-Vinnie: You have to kill it.
-Beat: Of course. That was my plan since the start.
-Erina: What!? But we could capture the culprit!
-Beat: Yeah, we could. But that would be worse with those old bastards.
-Vinnie: Yeah. An entire clan would die and we would have a war in hands.
-Erina: But...
-Beat: Remember what I told you back there.
Erina remembers what Beat told her before and sees what he's meaning. If Chase is the one killing, his clan would die if they only captured him by what Vinnie said. Or worse. A life of drugs for all the clan. Beat was chosing the best of the 2 bad options. The one that wouldn't cause troubles for the clan.
-Erina: Beat... I cannot kill someone that was used like that! I want to capture the bastard that is using that werewolf!
-Beat: Heh. Nice words. Vinnie, give me the direction of the factory.
-Vinnie: Just outside the city, go through the Unity Bridge. Then turn left. You'll find a giant factory. That's the one.
-Beat: Okay. Thanks, Vinnie. Let's go Erina.
-Erina: Okay.
They leave the building and go to Beat's car and start going to the factory.

The Unity Bridge was done in commemoration of the peace treaty that was made between the monsters and humans. Many tourists stopped there to take a photo of it and of the statue that was in the middle of it. It is large and when you arrive the middle of it you find a roundabout with the statue of a human and a vampire shaking hands. Of course you could go in a car to see it but also you could walk to it. It was one of the four wonders of the city. All of the wonders of the city were relationated with the peace treaty between monsters and humans or with the war that happened when humans denied that some humans turned into monsters. Beat drove until reaching the factory but while Beat was driving, Erina could see many people manifesting and asking for the immediate stop of the procontrol pills. Also there were some policemen prepared to stop them if the thing went out of hand.
In the factory there was a lot of police trying to enter but they couldn't until Beat checked the place. One advantage of being of White Hope.
Beat and Erina started checking the place, but it was obvious that it was the attack of a werewolf. It was full of parts destroyed by claws of a werewolf and a lot of walls with blood and big slashes made by claws of a werewolf and the corpse was the same but there was a trouble, there was no head. In Werewolf society, the honor of a werewolf was in the head. If it was separated of the body, it meant that the victim didn't have honor. Beat didn't like this. No new werewolf would do that, so the victim was a target of a werewolf that knew all about the werewolf society. Thing that started making the theory that Beat made before going have sense. But then he heard a scream. It was of Erina. Beat went running.
