Chapter 58: And there were none.

Beat kept searching a bit in area where the crime happened and saw a letter. It said: He is the first of five. The greed of this man causes a great dishonor to every samurai in the world, showing us to be simple minded warriors that can only swing a sword. The next shall be the lust.

Beat was surprised at reading these words. Seemed that there were 5 people who had something in common that made them an enemy. He had to warn all the people but that also would made the culprit be more aware. A hard choice but if he managed to know of what the culprit was talking it would make a difference, since it would give away his next target.
One thing was sure, the culprit could use a small gun to shoot and that he or she had been a samurai or knew a samurai.
Samurai units with katana were known in the war to be the frontline in war but most of the units got crushed or killed by the monsters thanks to bad leadership, so it could be that a survivor of those units came back with a reason to get revenge on the victim and the other 4.

Beat decided to talk with Erina and see what they could do.
-Beat: Erina...
-Erina: You have a lead. What it is?
-Beat: It can be a survivor of the samurai units.
-Erina: There are many people that after being in those units became rich. And the leaders of those units became experts in many things.
-Beat: First greed, later lust... 5 sins.
-Erina: The code of the samurai units! There were only 5 sins: Greed, Lust, Sloth, Gluttony and Envy. First the greed, later the lust.

Beat gathered those who had been in the samurai units. There were 3 members of the samurai units. Shiro, and the two girls of the staff.

Seems that only there are 3 possible culprits! But who it is the one that kills! Find out in the next chapter.

Sorry for the short chapter but I have been busy and that had made me unable to write more. Surely until summer I will have Beat Graves story but I will do the same as with Monsterpedia in april, each 2 weeks one chapter and in the week where there is no Beat Graves I will put Heroes World. That way I know I won't break my word.
