Monster Hunters: Beat Grave and Erina Hell's Adventures.

Chapter 37: Being closer.

Beat and Erina went to stop the thieves but they had big guns this time. Two thieves but one had a gatling gun and the other a rifle. Beat aimed at the head of the guy with the gatling gun.
-Beat: Get your hands up! NOW!
-Thief 1: Ain't happening. Give all your cash!
-Thief 2: Or I'll put a bullet with my rifle!
-Beat: Try your luck. Maybe you get surprised of what I can endure.
-Thief 2: You are just bluffing.
-Erina: He'd be bluffing if he said that you could not hit him so near. But with being unable to die? He is not bluffing. Surrender, please. Don't shoot to the head, he's still hungry for sure.
-Beat: Hey, I'm not a glutton!
-Erina: No, but this restaurant is great.
Vito gets behind the guy with a rifle and hits him with the shotgun, knocking him down and the other guy aimed at Vito with the gatling gun but Beat shots at the hand of the thief that had a finger in the trigger and disarmed him. Erina put the handcuffs to the thieves.

Everyone looked at Beat and Erina as they were heroes, and started applauding at them. That made Erina really happy but Beat only had eyes for Erina. As long she was happy, he did not care about anything else. Also a big weight in his back dissapeared, he had kissed her and she did not try to keep the distance with him. That meant that she could have feelings for him and for Beat that was a really good new.
Beat and Erina had a good dinner, talking of hobbies that both of them had, and then Beat wanted to accompany her to her house and Erina wanted to talk with Beat more.
-Beat:(blushing) Hey Erina, Can I go with you to your house?
-Erina: Okay. I want to go with you.
They went into Beat's car and started going to Erina's house. It was late already and Erina was a little tired so she was almost sleeping in the car.
-Beat: Hard day?
-Erina: Yeah.
-Beat: About the kiss...
-Erina: I know that it was an accident and all that...
-Beat: But... I know that I should have been more careful.
-Erina: Avoid being shot. A girl cares about you.
-Beat: And who is that girl?
-Erina: Who knows? Maybe you have her in front of you.
-Beat: You are really a sweetheart. You should be the one that should go more careful with shots. You can die, I can't.
-Erina: And? Maybe you can't die, but you can worry me.
-Beat: (smiles) You are a good girl. You deserve a better guy.
-Erina: And that starts sounding like Francis.
-Beat: True. But I'm a disaster.
-Erina: Not at all. You are a great guy, kind, a little bit extreme sometimes but a really great man. "And being honest, way too hot."
-Beat: You are really a great girl, a pretty girl, smart, merciful...
-Erina: Keep saying things like that and you'll make me blush. And you really are saying that you love me?
-Beat: Yeah, I cannot avoid it anymore. If I wait... I'll regret it all my life. I know that you surely don't love me so if you want to change of partner... Just say the word.
-Erina: I don't want to change of partner. You are my partner. And that the army comes to change that, because you are really a great man.
Erina and Beat arrive to Erina's house.
-Erina: See you tomorrow, Beat.
-Beat: Have a good night.
Beat was about to leave but Erina did not enter in her house. She was expecting something more and she had that something more in form of a kiss. Erina blushed.

Beat left and Erina went to her room and put her head in her pillow. She did not see Beat as a bad choice for a boyfriend but she always worried about his reckless actions. And she always tried to avoid thinking in what she felt for him, but she always was happy to be by his side and that he considered her as something more than a friend.
-Erina: "Being with him? As a couple? Well, I must confess that I'm happy always when he talks with me. And he cares about me..."
Erina blushes and puts her head under her pillow.
