Monster Hunters: Beat Grave and Erina Hell's Adventures.

Chapter 3: Erina's first day of work.

Erina and Sylvia checked what Beat said and warned the police, later that investigation would be carried by the corporation of Beat. Erina went to her house, a big house with two floors, in the first there was the kitchen, the living room and the bathroom. In the second floor there was Erina's room and her parents room and explained their parents all what happened while having dinner.
-Erina's father: Oh, daughter! You are so lucky! Going to be a monster hunter and the companion of the famous Beat Graves!
-Erina's mother: But that work is dangerous. Take it only if you want.
-Erina: I decided to become a monster hunter. It's interesting. And Beat is also interesting.
-Erina's mother: Really? You like him?
-Erina: Nothing like that! But he seems to not care about nothing and later he cares. He's quite strange.
-Erina's father: Leave her alone with that! She'll fall for someone someday! But until then, we don't have to ask about that! And now to sleep everyone! The first day at work will be the hardest for you, Erina.
-Erina: Okay.
Erina goes to sleep.
-Erina's Father: I hope that she's lucky but better let her do. You know how stubborn she is.
-Erina's Mother: I know, but... It's hard.

Meanwhile, in the office of Beat, Beat is writing a report of what happened. A very long one.
-Beat: Dammit! I'll be here 6 hours writing this report of hell! (Yawns) And I'm sleepy... If the police had done the job for once, I wouldn't be here.
Beat keeps writing the report and after 6 hours, he sends it.
The next day, Erina puts on a very formal dress to go to work and a pair of high heels and starts walking to her first and new job. She went to an specially tall building full of windows with 7 floors, with the emblem of a demon smiling. It was the HQ of Beat Corporation, White Hope. Yeah, the name didn't fit the emblem but there was rumours that Beat only choose the emblem not the name. The door of that building had a large queue, full of people, monster hunters that wanted to join mostly, trying to enter. Erina didn't know what to do.
-Erina: "I have to wait or what?"
Then Sylvia, who had 1 cup of coffee, saw Erina.
-Sylvia: Erina! Glad to see you! Beat is sleeping, but I'll wake him up! Come with me!
-Erina: Okay! "Finally! I can start working!"
When the two girls start walking towards the door, everyone looked Erina, the girls jealous of her, the boys more of looking her as a possible girlfriend. But then a guy tried to flirt with Erina.
-Guy: Hey girl, wanna drink something?
Then Erina would learn how dangerous Sylvia is. Sylvia took her gun and shot to the leg of the guy.
-Sylvia: Talk to any girl of our place like that again, and the bullet will go up, but not to the head! Get it!?
-Guy: Yes...
Sylvia and Erina kept walking.
-Sylvia: Sorry, this happens. But the worse is that Beat didn't tell them that if they aren't going to work as janitors, it's impossible to join to our corporation.
-Erina: Why?
-Sylvia: We recruit what we need. Unless the jobs that are easy. So of that queue, I sense that there isn't a janitor.
-Erina: And Beat didn't say nothing?
-Sylvia: He is like that, he left a note saying it. But no one reads it.
-Erina: Most of them are known Monster Hunters.
-Sylvia: Yeah. They try to meet Beat. Good luck in that.
They go inside the building and went to the elevator and went to the seventh floor.
-Sylvia: Next day, grab less formal clothes. Like that, you seem all unless a monster hunter.
-Erina: Understood.
They see the seventh floor as a floor full of offices, and they go to the one of Beat. The two girls see Beat sleeping.
-Erina: He's sleeping?
-Sylvia: Yeah. He always get sleepy. And after knowing how deep his sleep is, I found the best option to wake him up.
Sylvia points her gun to Beat's head and shoots several times. Beat wakes up.
-Erina and Beat: BUT WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?
-Sylvia: Quite good the reaction.
-Erina: You could have killed him!
-Beat: You could have spilled blood in my coffee!
Erina looks surprised to Beat.
-Erina: You care more about your coffee than your life!?
-Beat: WRONG! Since I cannot die, I care about my coffee!
-Erina: And who the hell drinks coffee in the morning!?
-Beat: ME! Better than the juice!
-Erina: Really? Better I start doing my job...
-Sylvia: Go to the armory, it is in the sixth floor. There you'll get your first weapon. And by the way, I sense that you two will become good friends. Both of you don't care about if your companion is the boss
-Erina: Understood. Well, if I have a companion I must be able to talk with freedom.
Erina leaves.
-Beat: (Yawns) She has guts. Proven that point, I expect a lot of her.
-Sylvia: As always Beat. You always expect a lot of new members.
Beat gets his coffee and starts drinking it while reading some cases that White Hope has to do.

Erina goes to the armory and sees lots of guns, grenades, bazookas, rifles... Any type of modern weapons is there, for big or hard to use it is. Erina was surprised. Then she felt like someone was behind her and when she felt a hand grabbing her shoulder, she didn't hestitate and punched the one that was behind. It was a tall girl with short black hair and purple eyes that was wearing a yellow T-shirt, dark blue jeans and some dark sneakers. She was using headphones.
-Erina: Sorry!
-???: No problem. It always happens. Beat almost killed me the first time. I'm the only person alive that scared Beat. My name is Trish.
-Erina: I entered here to find my first gun. My name is Erina.
-Trish: Oh! Erina! (Looks well at her) Sylvia told you about formal clothes?
-Erina: Yes... Late but yes.
-Trish: You are our first newbie. Let her get used to that. Since I'm the one in charge here in the armory, I'll check the guns. But I sense that Sylvia forgot to tell me which I should grab.
Trish checks some papers and didn't found nothing for Erina.
-Trish: If this entire building goes to hell, I won't be surprised... Those two always do the same. Always! Wanna check some good guns.
Trish grabbed a pistol, it was big, white and used special bullets, 12mm silver bullets.
-Trish: Try this one. It's a custom one. I call it breaker. Almost no one can shoot with it.
-Erina: And you want me to shoot with it!?
-Trish: Why not?
-Erina: Start calling an ambulance, I'll try it.
Erina grabs it and feels the weight of this massive pistol, grabs it with the two arm, aims to a wall full of shots and shoots. She felt like her two arms were about to fly away, but she hit where she wanted to hit. Drops the gun and Trish is surprised.
-Trish: A newbie shoots better than the old guys? Still, you are lucky. You still have arms. I'll get a less dangerous one, but I know that with time you'll end using Breaker.
Trish looked the other guns and grabbed a 10mm pistol, white and it was a little smaller than Breaker. It used 10 mm silver and exploding bullets.
-Trish: This one fits you. Suzumebachi. This beauty can shoot silver bullets and exploding bullets. Be easy, this gun is not as dangerous as Breaker, for you of course. Have luck. With Beat and with your job.
-Erina: Thanks, but I don't understand why I need luck with Beat...
-Trish: We are all making bets about when you two end falling for each other!
-Erina: Me!? No! I'm not like that!
-Trish: Beat never accepts companions. You are one of the few. Good luck!
-Erina: Thanks I guess.
Erina leaves.
