Chapter 62: Immortal vs Hitman

Beat took out his gun and started walking around the room and he did not hear any kind of shooting, surely Vaas did want to find a way to open the door without the key. But Beat literally was in front of it so it was impossible to get that door open. So Vaas had two choices: Not finishing the request or try to kill a man that cannot die.
Vaas was sure that Beat had a weakness that made him capable of being killed so he decided to start shooting him and see how he could kill Beat.
Beat heard shots and then he knew that the fight started. Vaas shot Beat in his heart and in his lungs only to see how Beat took them out like nothing and aimed his gun at the position where Vaas was.
-Beat: Jackpot! You gained… A shoot in your head!
Beat started shooting and shot the bullets to win extra range with the ricochet but Vaas was too far and hitting him with a gun was impossible. It was truly a stalemate, Beat could kill Vaas but did not have enough range, Vaas had range but he was unable to kill Beat.
After 30 minutes of shooting, Beat started laughing. He knew that a stalemate was ideal for him. He was gaining time and that made easier the job for the police to catch Vaas.
-Beat: Vaas! You can't even kill me with that gun of yours! I could kill you with it but you can't kill me! Hell, even I cannot kill myself! Retreat before the police gets you!
Vaas shot Beat in the neck out of frustration.

Meanwhile, the police started to search for the culprit of the gunshots that were heard in the cinema and found Beat trying to hit a sniper with a gun. But they knew that they could catch the sniper. Then, Beat saw the police and started shooting at the direction where Vaas was.
The police tracked the shooting and found a tall skeleton made of carbon and tried to capture him but Vaas was faster than the police and was forced to retreat.

Meanwhile, Francis was at a restaurant eating when he received a message from Vaas explaining what had happened. Francis got angry and made a call to his friend, Bell.
-Francis: Bell, it has been a long time but it's time to finish with Beat.
-Bell: Finally you accept it. We cannot kill him but we can make a hell out of his life.
-Francis: Yeah but taking him out of his job will cause a mess. So what can we do?
-Bell: There is a way to stop him. Cleaning all the trails to us, that way he could only get you by capturing Vaas or finding out something more.
-Francis: Then we have to be fast. He will go after me.
Francis finished the call and finished his meal.

Well, case closed or not? At least Beat found the culprit. I hope that you like this chapter and this story
