Chapter 13: The girl that had faith but loved the forbidden.

A girl with robes is running in the night, no one knows why, but she's being hunted by something. In the darkness not even the girl could see who wanted to kill her. After running for 30 minutes, the girl is exhausted and a man that looked like a priest grabbed a crowbar and started hitting the girl while she was screaming and crying, blood flows until the girl is dry and the priest grabs the body.
-Priest: (while walking) Those who tamper with the name of humanity shall die... Let their blood become the seas, their bodies our earth and their bones our stones.

The next day, it was a rainy day in the city, Erina woke up and grabbed a red shirt, blue jeans, a black belt, blue trainers and after getting all that and getting dressed grabs a leather jacket, the holster of her weapon and her weapon and grabbed a plaque that was a circle with her name and the letters MH.
Beat and Sylvia really forgot about it. It's a must have for any monster hunter that plaque. It shows that you are a monster hunter. Every monster hunter only has only one in all their life. And no newbie reached White Hope until Erina was recruited. So they weren't really ready for getting a newbie. But well, Erina forgot their fails. In the end, they all were learning with time. Also Sylvia had the worst timing. Even Beat knew that there are hours that you shouldn't call. Erina's mobile phone rang and Erina answered the call.
-Erina: Hello?
-Sylvia: Erina, Beat and you have a new case. A nun has died. In theory the church would investigate this, but they want to close the case quickly and the family decided to call us. Expect church people interfering with the job.
-Erina: Wait! Now we investigate a murder!? Not kidnapping, not drugs, not nothing else!?
-Sylvia: Yes. Another murder.
-Erina: Well... a job is a job. And what we do with the church people?
-Sylvia: Oh. If they interfere, warn them. If they start interfering too much, just fill them with bullets. First warn, then kill. We warned so it's their fault.
-Erina: I'll try to persuade them first.
-Sylvia: Okay, do what is needed.
-Erina: Where I have to go?
-Sylvia: Beat will pick you up. You have 5 minutes to have breakfast.

Erina hangs up and runs to the kitchen and gets a glass of orange juice and starts preparing some toasts with jam. Erina's father was having breakfast too.
-Erina's father: Erina, why to prepare all quickly?
-Erina: New case and my boss is coming to pick me up to the murder scene! Good morning by the way!
-Erina's Father: How much time you have?
-Erina: Less than 5 minutes!
-Erina's Father: I'll talk to your boss and gain some minutes. Have breakfast with your usual speed.
-Erina: (smiles) Thanks, dad!
Erina starts having breakfast quick and then she hears a klaxon. It was from Beat's car.
-Erina's father: Your boss is quicker than expected. I'll buy you 10 minutes.
-Erina: (While eating) Dad, you arshe the besht!
Erina's father gets out of the house with an umbrella and sees Beat with another umbrella.
-Erina's Father: Hi! You must be Beat, the boss of my daughter.
-Beat: Indeed! It's a rainy day, so I can't talk all the day.
-Erina's Father: Yeah, but my daughter is getting ready. It seems that you didn't warn with enough time!
-Beat: Sylvia must have warned late Erina. I'll wait.
-Erina's Father: And I heard a lot of you lately. You have gained many enemies lately!
-Beat: True... Thanks to my last case. But no problem with posh people.
-Erina's Father: Also some werewofves hate you!
-Beat: Those are the posh!
-Erina's Father: And the others?
-Beat: Hipsters... I cannot stand posh or hipsters...
-Erina's Father: Erina always hated posh people. Even if some rich guys tried to flirt with her, and they only got a punch in the face!
-Beat: And she has a boyfriend?
-Erina's Father: No! She has always found all the guys that tried to flirt with her disgusting. Some were posh, other were stupid and the rest were lost causes.
-Beat: Well. My curiosity was far too much. Only wanted to know a little of Erina... The profile of her is too... you know, blank.
-Erina's Father: Usual. She hates getting into troubles with the police.
-Beat: As opposite as many monster hunters.
-Erina's Father: And how's she doing?
-Beat: She still needs some training, and I need serious knowledge of how to be a good teacher. I'm quite lost with this of newbies. We usually recruit from other corporations!
-Erina's Father: If you get lost with that... You are lucky to have Erina. Many newbies are just crazy.
-Beat: You know that too much... You won't be a cop?
-Erina's Father: One of the few human left.
-Beat: Just perfect! I wanted to see one of you! I want to ask you a lot of things!
Then Erina gets out with an umbrella.
-Erina: All ready boss! Can we go?
-Beat: Of course! I'll talk with you later, mr Hell.
-Erina's Father: A pleasure meeting you, Beat.

Beat and Erina get in the car and Beat drives to the east part of the city. It was the residential district and was near the leisure district. It was filled with homes for almost all the population of the city. Also it had several churchs, and many religious buildings, meant to fulfill all the needs of the people. Also there are lots of shops to fulfill any need of the people.
Beat and Erina go to a street near to a church. There they find the corpse of the nun, but cut in little dices. Erina is disgusted by the sight. Someone took extra care of the corpse. Beat was already checking the area to find things left by the culprit and finds a wallet of the victim. Beat looked it.

Surprise, second case started but... Cliffhanger! What happened to the victim!? You'll know in next chapter!
