Chapter 54: Beat vs Killer Demon

Beat started aiming at Killer Demon and smiled.
-Beat: May I know your name, little demon?
-Killer Demon: Hisagi. That's my name.
-Beat: Well, we have one thing to take care no? Out of my path.
-Hisagi: You want to follow Vinnie, why?
-Beat: Good question. An old partner of someone I know introduced him to me and asked me to get him a work were his talent could shine. But I can't start remembering good days. I have to take care of you, gangster.
Beat started shooting but Hisagi avoided the bullets and grabbed a sword. Hisagi rushed to Beat and stabbed him with the sword and pushed Beat to a wall and left the sword stuck on it.

Beat was surprised at that strategy, usually no one would use such force to stop an enemy like him.
-Beat: Seems that you know how to fight.
-Hisagi: The only reason why I use this strategy is because if I can't win, then I'll just win time
-Beat: Good idea. But remember one thing. I have guns and I kept them in my hands.
-Hisagi: Are you trying to spare me?
-Beat: Exactly. If not I'd just shoot you in the head.
-Hisagi: I killed monsters and humans.
-Beat: Just like me! But you did it for a job and I did it to avoid vain deaths. The morality is different. But in the end of the day, you and me are the same.
-Hisagi: I won't stop. I'll drink my last dose when I'll be captured.
-Beat: And we will heal you up in no time. Useless. We can even help you now.
-Hisagi: Are you truly Beat Graves, the monster killer who has no mercy?
-Beat: Hmph! Yeah! But a stubborn girl show me that not always I have to kill. And since I can't die, I'll try to recruit you while you try to kill me!
-Hisagi: Why!?
-Beat: I do not know. Maybe I see in you a little bit of me. And I want a smart guy like you. Of course, there's the trouble that you killed innocent people. But as far as I see, you killed thugs. Surely we can work out a small way to not have to capture you and recruit you.
-Hisagi: I killed many people...
-Beat: Are you regretting it, right?
-Hisagi: I did not have any other choice. And I still not have any choice. I will not fail the man who I owe so much!
-Beat: So you are like that. Even in front of sure death, you smile! (Laughs) This is too amusing! What a samurai we have here!

Beat shoots to the other gangsters killing them with his guns.
-Beat: I really like that loyalty of yours! I want to recruit you even more now!
-Hisagi: As I said, I won't betray Big Papa.
-Beat: But if he dies, you are free.
-Hisagi: What do you mean!?
-Beat: That I'll have to trust in Vinnie's power.
-Hisagi: He'll be killed.
-Beat: Let's see about that. But first!
Beat smiles and kicks Hisagi and takes out the blade on his chest. His wound quickly heals and Beat aims at Hisagi to the head.
-Beat: Move and I'll kill you.

Meanwhile, Vinnie was trying to see how he would kill Gary but he did not know how to fight well. So he avoided the shots of Gary and tried to hit him with his shotgun but the shotgun was not the best gun to use against a man who is far from him.
-Gary: You are going to die partner! The one that killed your friends was me! Hisagi only made their death quicker! My fake blood has a toxin that kills anyone in 3 minutes. And they shot me to death and were stained by my blood.
-Vinnie: So you killed her? (Smiles) This is great!
Vinnie rushed forward and shoot Gary in the head with his shotgun but Gary mixed fake blood with his blood and shot Vinnie in the leg.

Vinnie fell to the ground and started crying of pain. But then Big Papa saw Vinnie and grabbed the gun that Gary had and aimed at Vinnie face.
-Big Papa: Yer dead, kid. Yer dead because you stole from me!
-Vinnie: If that's so, I'll go down like a man.
Vinnie aimed his shotgun to Big Papa's face and smiled.
