Beat and Erina entered into the warehouse and saw it like someone had trashed the area, it was filled with lots of machines that couldn't be recognized after the attack, it was filled of gunshoots and looked like if it was made to distill something but Beat could not know what it was.
Then they looked the surroundings but only could see a lot of blood spilled in the floor. Then Beat started noticing what happened and searched for corpses and he found 3 corpses of 3 demons and examined them all, it was 2 men and one woman.
-Beat: "The first demon seems to have been shot first in the left leg, later in the right arm and finally in the head. The woman seems to have been shot in the right leg, left arm and then in the heart... It can't be no?"
Beat grabbed the corpses and put them together and noticed one important thing. They had been shot with a shotgun and were shot down only with a shot, so that shotgun was truly powerful but also truly unreliable because it did not hit exactly a perfect shot from a shotgun so it dispersed a lot.

But he had to check the other corpse and he saw that he was shot with a complete different gun.
-Beat: "This one seems to have a lot of smaller holes in the body, like if he was shot with a gatling gun. But who in their right mind would use a gatling? This place is hiding more than we know now. That's a fact never better said"
Meanwhile, Erina was checking the surroundings and saw several things that were off.
-Erina: "If this was were the drugs were being done, where were the drugs? There's no trail of it. Maybe this was only a part of the production chain? No. This was were they were being done. If not, no one would attack it. Then, maybe someone stole the drugs. Beat is checking the corpses as usual, but that won't serve us right now. I should search for something else"
Erina started searching for any clue that would give a lead to follow but the only thing she could find was a lot of machines that seemed to be part of a production chain of drugs combined with the other machine that Beat saw but it was at the other side of the warehouse and found a mark of a hand and started using dust to find fingerprints and found several prints but they did not look like human at all.

Meanwhile, Beat checking the corpses found that some bones were a bit loose for a demon at all. Usually demons have sturdy bodies so to someone to leave the bones so loose it would need a lot of strength to even bend a bone like that and then Beat started thinking in how someone would be able to pull off that kind of feat.
-Beat: "There are few races capable of pulling this kind of feat. The werewolves, gnomes and the lizardmen. But gnomes and lizardmen don't live in the city. And werewolves attacking demons and not taking their heads? Impossible! Usually the only kind of werewolf who would do that would be the Blood Fang clan, filled with really traditional werewolves that don't forget that the demons betrayed them in the war... Then only we have a chance, drugged demons. There are drugs that improve the strength but they usually needed a lot of doses only to give that... Unless this warehouse had something more."
Beat started checking the area to find something that he had not seen before or even some crates in case that there was any type of drug left behind. And he found something different, there was a wall that seemed a fake wall and he knocked it. It was a sound of something empty and Beat decided to push the wall and found a secret room behind the wall with a recipe and a crate filled with pills.

Demons used crated to hide the pills because since usually demons had works involved with carrying big crates, they could seem like they were working while they delivered the materials to do the drugs to the warehouse where they worked or gave the drugs to the costumers. The police did not check the crates because for a demon that someone that wasn't the costumer checking the crate was a great offense and by their culture they would have to kill anyone that checked what they carry.
And that because before the war, because they had a merchant culture and followed that culture really strongly but after the war they lost all. It was natural that they tried to regain that now using drugs, after all thanks to the humans they lost all.
But then Beat heard a loud noise and took out his gun.
