Chapter 27: Catching the Spectra

Beat woke up from the sleep grenade and looked at his surroundings. Nothing had changed, everyone was alive and safe but sleeping.
-Beat: Erina. How much time we have?
-Erina: In a few moments the spectra will call.
-Beat: I'll answer.
The phone started ringing and Beat answered the call.
-Beat: Hi spectra. You are a little bastard. You almost killed a lot of cops.
-???: Oh. So you noticed?
-Beat: Where we will deliver the money?
-???: How will you obtain it? I killed her father.
-Beat: Her mother can obtain it. A widow can always grab the money of her deceased husband. I know that you want to cause a war. Why?
-???: Happy 20 years!
-Beat: So you and Ceasar are connected. Or you were using him?
-???: Who knows!
-Beat: Why you do that? Why you want war? Is it because of something that happened to you?
-???: Well, I was a forgotten kid. Even my parents did not care about me. But I do what I believe is right.
Beat face looked like if he was supressing his own anger.
-Beat: That's Chase past. Tell me yours.
-???: Why? If I have to choose a past, why not a multiple choice one?
-Beat: You are a psycho.
-???: Well, I'll wait you in the old procontrol pill factory. The one where Nick worked.
-Beat: You know even that. Who are you?
-???: Who knows?
The spectra ends the call.

Beat and Erina went to that place. It was exactly as Beat and Erina remembered. Then a skeleton grabbing Iris appeared.
-Skeleton: Money please...
-Beat: Huh? So scared that you won't appear, Spectra!?
Beat shoots the skeleton and kills him.
-Beat: Get your ass here if you want the money. Oh, wait! We don't have to pay! We have rescued Iris.
Then a man that had the appearance of a cockroach that was walking on it's two legs. He was the spectra. He did a weird sound and Iris started running and going back to the spectra.
-???: Money please!
-Beat: I've got you.
Beat throws a cube that did an exact opposing sound, neutralizing the sound of the spectra. Erina went to where the spectra was and shot him in the legs. She grabbed the handcuffs and captured the spectra.

Beat was really surprised, it had been way too easy to capture him. Way too easy. A lot of people entered into the building with guns and started shooting Erina. She had to run for cover but the spectra escaped.
Beat started shooting to the legs of anyone that started shooting. The spectra saw Beat fighting and decided to try his luck and used the weird sound really near to Erina. It did not work. Erina aimed with her gun to the face of the spectra
-Erina: Oh, you thought that it would affect me? Surprise, any sound that affects the brain is useless against me. The luck of being of the Hell family. But what you have done is already going way too far. You are killing way too many people. Surrender right now, Spectra. You've been captured!
-Kall: My name is Kall. Still, I accept that I lost.
Erina grabbed a little of cloth and used it to block the mouth of Kall.
-Erina: That way you won't control no one else anymore.
Erina found Iris and they went where Beat was.
